Intructions suck, but product does work. Follow these instuctions instead....
I almost returned this product. I followed DVD instructions exactly and still couldn't get it to work. So this is what I did.We used crocs which seemed to work better.1. Duct tape the magnet on the inside wall of the the right shoe between the arch and heel. (inside the shoe)2. Place wired copper piece inside the thick metal housing (no screw needed)3. Duct tape the black wire on the outside of the shoe but on the inner side matching where the magnet is on the other shoe (between the arch and heel) This was the issue. Magnet wouldn't charge with the copper piece on the back of the shoe where the heel was.4. Use the included conductive tape to secure metal housing with copper piece in it to bottom sole of shoe.5. Conductive tape will fall off so we made it thicker with aluminum foil and bought more conductive tape on amazon to secure it around sole of shoe.6. Bring feet together until blue light turns on.And it worked! My eight year old son is very happy.

I would not buy from these people- and why these fail.
I have purchased 3 of their electric touch devices . After a few uses 2 of them stopped working . They’d just click or buzz. I replaced the batteries , I checked the contacts ect .. I am a certified electronics tech , electronics engineer and a licensed radio operator - I have been in every aspect of electronics for decades so I tried to reason out what was wrong before sending back the units . I have purchased 3 of these units. 2 of them have failed . When I tried to discuss why they failed with the seller , they as much implied I was a liar . They do not want me to buy from them anymore. ( have no fear ) You’d think that if a person were dishonest they would have a different modus operandi but they don’t care . The person on the other end of my email said to me that both units worked when they arrived . I honestly doubt that, They would just click and click and do nothing . I let them sit without batteries for 2 days thinking that it was an issue that a power cycle could fix - to no avail ...the issue remains . Now , My understanding is that the unit’s electronic circuit board is sealed in black epoxy , so you can not repair them if even if you wanted to. This device : the “electric touch “ may be a bad design but to me if they have this kind of attitude and as much as try to characterize and blame their customers rather than admit that they are selling a defective product , speaks volumes about their business acumen and I would not deal with them . Buyer bewareUpdate 4/11/20: DIscovered the issue - It IS a bad design . The one I own and did not return I have dissected . Okay so the unit uses a magnetic switch . The one they use fails very easily . I never really liked this idea . I will mod to use my own remote switch . Keep in mind that when you look at the magnetic switch leads they are RED AND BLACK wires. That makes no sense to electronics techs . RED and BLACK represent positive and negative thus if you bypassed , your logic would be - dead short - not so . After I bypassed the magnetic switch , it worked . Also I will confirm that the electronics are sealed in black epoxy . But I can tell that they use a voltage multiplier and step up transformer . Pretty standard stuff . As for tricks supply . Yea . Their business acumen could be better . I tried to reason out 3 failed devices and they as much as implied duplicity on my part . I am sure that a lot of these units fail . I am sure they are aware . I will be working on a more viable solution to switch the unit on and off . I already have the circuit worked out in my mind, the parts and will be modding it this weekend . I of course will not be sharing the design but now everyone knows why these fail.Update April 22 2020 : my mod works . By passing the magnetic switch worked . You will need heat shrink tubing and a few of odds and ends but removing that magnetic switch and using my own circuit works . You could add a normal switch to it and run a wire up your leg to trigger it . ( hide a normal switch in your waste band . Pretty easy. ) I did something different that I won’t mention here . It’s a more professional config . It works and I tested it for a few days around the house . the units work . Just kick that magnetic switch . It is garbage .

Not So Good
This device is a great idea, in theory, but crap in practice. The velcro strap, which is supposed to hold it to your leg, was attached backwards, and to the wrong side of the device, and was too short to boot. When I fit it to my adult leg, it did not hold well, and when I stood up, the device loosened, and slipped down my leg. I then turned it on, got one self shock out of it, and it shorted out, and no longer worked. When I pulled on the strap again, the plastic strap holder (on the ET+) which held the strap to the device, broke off. ...so I could no longer try to wear it. It was a colossal waste of money, time, and effort. With just a little better design, and some quality control in construction, this could be a great device. I may have gotten one of a few lemons, and most of the units may be better built, but at the price this costs, I am not risking any further purchases to find out. No more Yigal Mesika items for me.

Be warned of this awful and cheaply made product.
I bought this and was highly disappointed. Mesika reveals that you receive 50 percent of the shock and also you have to screw up a pare of shoes and be careful not to break an easily breakable wire. Not to mention he acts like a hard case driving a car around on the video that he is probably renting and if he isn't renting it its because he is scaming people into buying cheaply made products at a high price. I am officially fed up of getting less for my money. The first time I bought a product from mesika it was the spider pen pro that had a motor that did not work. The spider pen pro was one thing but this electric touch crap is officially upsetting to say the least.
