Require more current than needed (my fault). Very strong holding power.
1.5 A is too much for most hobbyist projects, but that is no fault of the part. Once I had a driving circuit designed that could drive 1.5 A the motors worked great and were also very accurate. From a hobby standpoint you should look for a motor that requires less than 500 mA.

Works
I was hoping it had more torque but that might be the A4988 controller not being adjusted perfectly or my programming could be not quite right.

But the right controller for the motor
Word to the wise do the research get the correct stepper controller. Spent an hour troubleshooting why I couldn't get this motor to spin turns out the control didn't have the correct pinout because I was able to spin it directly off the arduino pins but that had almost no amps at 5 volts so the stops were not holding correctly but at least i knew the motor was good. Got a more universal controller and it worked perfectly. Strong and accurate steps.

Great price. Spins backwards
Great price. Seems to be a great little unit. Using the wiring it came with, it spins backwards. Decided to recompile the firmware to fix that. Switching a couple pins in the plug would have also worked.

Nice replacement for Ender 3 Pro
I needed a motor with a longer shaft for my Ender 3 Pro extruder upgrade. I purchased model 17HS4401. The motor was pretty much plug and play. Works great and runs cool and quiet.
