Huge storage space and the 4 caster wheels allow placing in tight spaces
The storage chest was shipped inside a very large Amazon box, leaving lots of empty spaces inside with insufficient bubble wraps or paddings. The box was crumbled on a corner. Fortunately the product package was intact. The item is very heavy. The build of the chest is pretty straight forward. It took less than an hour to complete. The safety hinges are a little bit difficult to installed. If you are using it on carpet, you don't and shouldn't need to install the 4 wheels. The wheels are very handy if you want to put the chest on hard floor and it rolls easily. This means that you can place the chest in front of drawers or other taller cabinets. You just need to push the chest away to gain access to anything you plan to place behind the chest. Please make sure you place the wheels with lock in the position you can access easily for lock/unlock.The one I got is grey color with some wood pattern. It turns out matching my room pretty well. There is sufficient space which I can put toys and stuff animals. The door can also support large weight and you can easily have 2 persons sitting on the chest.

Easy to assemble and looks good
I’m quite impressed by this storage chest. It looks good, was easy to assemble and very reasonably priced.DeliveryThe item arrived on time although I had some concerns at first because the end of the box clearly had been dropped and it was a bit rumpled. So I was nervous as I opened up the box. To my surprise there was NO damage at all. The item was packaged at the factory in such a way that it protected it from the handling mistakes that had clearly been made. There was sufficient Styrofoam and foam liners in between the boards to prevent any damage to the product. It's good to know they properly packaged the item to protect it from the delivery and handling.ConstructionThe instruction manual is not very thick at all and it is clearly laid out with all the pieces clearly labeled and easily referenced in the directions. I was very happy with the building instructions as they made it easy. The only thing you really need that doesn’t come in the box is a Phillips screwdriver. It comes with the little wrench and allen wrench tools that you need. All the holes were predrilled. The instructions were in English and clearly written with excellent graphics to make getting the hardware aligned and in the proper place easy. I wish all build it yourself furniture was this easy to build.Looks and functionI’m impressed that it came with little wheels which also have locking mechanisms on 2 of them. It made it very easy to move into place and then lock so it stayed put. The front of the unit has a decorative panel that makes it looks modern. The handle cutout makes it very easy to open up. The top stays open on its own due to the hardware. The top functions as a bench. Once I was done building it I flipped it upright and took a seat. I like that it can hold an adult person (or two) up to 300 lbs. It holds a lot and is very useful.Overall I'm very happy with this storage chest. It was easy to build, well packaged, looks good, and a good value.

Has all the nice features!
I really like this storage bench because it has all the nice features, combined into one. It has a clean look and attractive wainscoting on the front, wheels (2 of them locking) that make it easy to move around, is sturdy enough for a person or two to sit on, is a great size with plenty of storage space, has two safety hinges that hold the lid up when open, and 4 little cushioning dots that stick to the front-top edge so you don't have to baby the lid when you set it back down to close. The bench came well-packed and cushioned. Pieces are solid, heavy, and feel like quality. Wrenches are included, but you will need to source your own Phillips screwdriver. Assembly can be very quick and easy -- IF you watch out for your pieces to be oriented correctly. Assembly starts with the 4 wall pieces forming the box, upside down. Make sure the 2 little inward holes on the 2 side pieces, and the two clusters of holes on the back piece, face the inside of the box and are closer to the floor. These are the hinge holes, so if they aren't in the right places, you'll have to backtrack / disassemble.Note the hinges aren't pneumatic or lift-up, meaning the lid does not soft close. When opening the lid, at about the halfway point is when the safety hinges kick in. Then and at any point above halfway, the lid will not come down on its own. Not until you pull the lid down at least past the halfway point, after which the lid will drop on its own at that point. While you shouldn't let it drop, I do really like how the little cushioning dots make it so you don't have to set the lid down super slowly or carefully either. Do make sure your fingers are where the notch is in the front wall piece.Overall, great piece of furniture, very happy with my purchase.

Nice and Sturdy Storage Chest
My daughter used a plastic tote to store some of her stuff in her room. Functionally, that worked, but it didn't look the nicest and was a pain to slide around. We found this, and she loves it. It was easy to assemble, and we did it in about 30 minutes. As usual with anything, the hinges were the most challenging, but nothing that we couldn't figure out.Once complete, the lid opens and closes nicely, and the wheels roll easily. Since they roll so easily, it is nice that there is a break on two of them to ensure it will not move when you don't want it to.The look is very nice, too, and is a huge improvement in her room. We are very happy with this upgrade to her room, and as sturdy as it is, it will be a piece of furniture she will be able to keep around for a long time.
