didnt expect it to work!!
Honestly, I didn’t expect this WiFi adapter to work this well—especially at this price! My PC used to only get around 5 Mbps, even though my home internet is 1 gigabit. But after installing the driver and plugging it in, my speed instantly shot up to 300–500 Mbps. I’m seriously impressed! For something this affordable, the results are amazing. Totally worth it!

Solid 6ghz operation. Needs (included) driver on Windows but plug and play on Linux.
It was plug and play on Mint Linux. It needed a driver on Windows but it worked great once setup there. I wanted something smaller, but I needed 6ghz on some laptops where the bios wouldn't allow new WIFI cards so I couldn't upgrade them, and this gave it to me.

DOES NOT CONNECT TO 6GHZ
The adapter did run faster than my pc’s original card but only would connect to 5ghz and a lot of times would switch back to the 2.4ghz. If I were you I’d rather just spend the extra money and get the Netgear adapter as it actually can connect to and use 6ghz. I will be returning this adapter

Excellent hardware, limited support.
Tested on both windows 11 and linux, the card itself preforms wonderfully. Works very well with tools like airodump-ng, aireplay-ng, and hcxtools on linux. Monitor, master, managed, and ad-hoc modes work out of the box with a modern linux kernel. However, the driver for windows 11 only supports managed mode. Additionally, there is no support for arm-based linux builds, such as the raspberry pi. Overall, excellently built, but the lack of support for the device holds it back.

Works PERFECTLY on Linux / Raspberry Pi
I started with a cheap tplink/realtek rtw8022bu, The longest i stayed up was two days with a 64% signal. I switched to this Mediatek Device and it just started working perfectly with 84% signal. Please don't support realtek/rtw as they don't exactly support the Linux community. Mediatek (this device) does. idVendor=0e8d, idProduct=7961 Manufacturer: MediaTek Inc. Get a nice WiFi 6 connection, unit seems reliable
Loaded the included driver file on my Windows 10 desktop, and this USB WiFi adapter, connected without issue. System noted I was getting WiFi 6 connection from my router and has so far worked flawlessly. Connection and coverage seem more than adequate and reliable.
