Purchased these to replace older P3i earbuds that had started to have volume issues after a few years (stuck driver?). For the money you are getting a great set of noise cancelling earbuds with these P30i’s. These are a slightly different form factor than the older ones but are approximately the same overall size. Instead of physical buttons these respond to taps to change volume, skip tracks or change noise cancellation mode and this function works quite well and intuitively. The case is a little bigger than the P3i or Airpod cases but is really easy to use with the buds magnetically snapping into the case to charge. The sound quality is very good and I have used the various noise cancellation modes with good results. In both cases these outperform the P3i. Active noise cancellation in airports and planes (or when someone has the TV on in the house and you need to focus) is quite effective at reducing or canceling almost all external sound, while transparent mode when walking on streets gives you awareness of your surroundings. Connection with my iphone is consistent and stable. There are several different modes of active noise cancellation you can tweak to try to get the best results for your environment using the app on your phone as well as customizing the actions for the taps on the earbuds. So far both the earbuds and case have survived accidental falls and drops without any problems. Like all in ear buds how tightly pushed in the are has a big impact on how effective the noise cancellation works.

This review is for Anker P30i ANC wireless earbuds. I got them on sale for $28.99 and not only do I feel like I got my money’s worth, these have FAR exceeded my expectations.I’m an audiophile on a budget — I listen to tons of music and I know the difference between good headphones and not. I own quite a few pairs that run the quality gamut; on the top end, I have a pair of Surface 2 ANC headphones, but I also regularly slum it on the very cheap end with ~$10 wired earbuds because that’s the only thing I’ve found to work while wearing my motorbike helmet.These earbuds, honestly, and for the price point especially, I’m super impressed. I had heard good things about a more expensive set of Anker earbuds and bookmarked it, but $28.99 for wireless ANC and I was sold. Anker is a solid brand, so I figured it couldn’t be worse than my $10 crap pair.Well, I was not at all expecting these earbuds to be WORLDS better than my AirPods. The sound is surprisingly full with decent bass and volume, all areas in which my more expensive AirPods have actively disappointed me over the years. I know they’re 2nd Gen, but look what they’re still selling for—not at all worth it when there’s competition like these Anker earbuds.So far, these have paired smoothly with my phone and TV, and the battery life is decent (several hours). I haven’t tested this, but I read that you can get ~2 hours of use from a 10-minute quick charge and that it takes about 2.5 hours to charge from empty to full.There are a bunch of reasons why I like these a lot better than I ever liked my AirPods:* Different-sized rubber tips so these actually stay in my ears while I’m doing stuff! I used to have to use a lanyard with my AirPods because they didn’t fit my ears that well.* The max volume is higher and frankly, overall sound quality is worlds better. Plus, ANC!* There’s a handy companion app with different options and a selection of meditation/sleep sounds and control over the earbuds.* I’ve only used them for a phone call once, so hard to comment on that just yet. I could hear the person well and they said they could hear me fine. More usage is needed to form an opinion, but based on everything else, I’m sure the mic is good. (UPDATE: I had a long phone chat with my sister using these. For this price range, the mic definitely good enough! No major issues, though my impression was that the mic isn’t as good as my Surface pair, but that’s to be expected.)

I purchased these for hands-free phone calls at work. Works fine for that purpose. Also use it for working out. The bluetooth is efficient, long battery life, fine sound quality, great noise cancelling. I do not use the adaptive or ambient features personally. Overall, great product at this price point! No complaints

I think this is one of the only reviews I've written on Amazon, but Im so impressed with these earbuds that I wanted to share my thoughts. The sound quality is terrific and goes way above the price of the ear buds. The design is great so far. I purchased these for work (maintenance/welding) and running and the ear feels is non obstructive. Another thing I really appreciate is the case doubling for a stand for your phone! Very clever design. The real reason I wanted to write this review is the noise cancelling feature. I think they call it something else in the product description but that's essentially what it does. I wore them last night while I was cooking and I turned the hood fan on above my stove and went about cooking my meal. When I was done I removed the earbuds from my ears and was greeted with the very loud droning from my kitchen still! I completely forgot it was on. Incredible stuff. Absolutely would purchase these again, given the price and quality and would possibly buy a higher quality product from the same company in the future.
