Splits and Amplifies without Hum or Noise
This Fosi PH05 is an unbelievably excellent piece of Audio equipment. Sound quality remains 100% same as input but with amplified level. I even connected on 2 of the 5 outputs a “Y” splitter (1 in 2 out not amplified) thereby connecting 7 JBL Charge 4 Speakers and by simply raising the output level for those 2 ports (around an 8th of a turn more on the 2 respective dials) matches the output level of the other output ports. Thereby 10 outputs could be created (using 5 “Y” splitters) and all 10 have a higher output level as input, again without any Hum or Noise. I used many connection types and it works perfect in all situations. Now I am using an iPad as audio source connected via bluetooth to a Mackie Subwoofer first. The RCA-outs of the Mackie connects to the 3.5mm input of the Fosi PH05. From there I connect to 7 JBL Charge 4’s as mentioned above via the outputs on the Fosi and the cables connect to the JBL’s 3.5mm input ports.. The Fosi is all Metal (no plastic here) and using 12 volts instead of the 9 volts as in most of the other splitters of this kind - I presume that is the reason for the impressive amplification strength. The 5 individual output dials and the master output level dial have that professional Studio-Quality feel - very precise and exactly the right turning resistance. Once you turn them you realize this thing is quality: a little more than 3/4 turn dials from off to max volume - as should be. Each dial also has that essential dot on top indicating where the wheel is turned between off and max level - also not present on many of these splitters. The Fosi always stays cold, there is no heat generated at all. Knowing this device now I would pay a couple hundred $ for it.

Fantastic Device
TL;DR: Sound is great. Feels like a solid build. Great for enhancing your private listening.I have generally like Fosi products. I work from home and sometimes need a little music to drown out the world outside so I listen to music through my wired headphones for great sound. I always felt that my iPhone was limited in how the sound came out but it’s always been good enough for my needs.I was curious about this amplifier because never thought I would need something like this. At the price point I thought why not try to enhance my listening experience. Like most novices when it comes to appreciating music, I always felt that the system is only as good as its weakest link. To me that would be the headphones I am using. So that’s why I went with some high-end wired headphones rather than Bluetooth. They sound great, but sometimes I feel like I don’t have enough control over bass treble, and other factors to make this sound even better. This little device actually has a lot of controls to customize your sound. So in my set up, I just use my iPad for the audio signal to put into this device and hooked up my headphones. I have to say that even though I am using an app like Spotify on my iPad, the sound is so much better when I am able to customize the output. The sound is fantastic. I would even say the Bill quality on this thing is solid. Now I am really enjoying my music and even watching movies makes it sound even better as well. I really feel this is a great product and Fosi has done a great job in their designing engineering. I highly recommend this little amp.

Works great, and works as intended
I have multiple headphones I like to switch between and this makes it much easier than constantly plugging them in. The first headphone slot even has multiple easy to drive headphones plugged in via splitter cables with no audible degradation in sound quality.

Stylish and minimalistic design of a well built headphone splitter
I'm a fan of Fosi audio. These guys are delivering high-end equipment made with modern techniques at an amazing value fo the money. This is no exception. Do not buy a plastic cheaply made headphone splitter if you want good sound... get a point-to-point wired metal unit with physical knobs and switches for the same cost.I also have other Fosi products and I can say they are top-notch at responding to issues and resolving them quickly on the rare occasion they come up.I do not work for them or anything... but I am a fan, since I have several stereos that are some of the best out there and I like saving money w/o compromising sound quality.

Works great!
I was having problems balancing the output on multiple types of speakers and this worked out great, Heavy outdoor use for many hours at high throughput with no problems. I wanted to give it time before review to unsure the abuse was not going to kill it.

Fantastic Headphone Amplifier for comparing IEM/Headphones
I have a collection of Headphones and IEM's and to compare them was a hassle, having to plugged them into my headphone amp and balance the volume each time. This Headphone amplifier makes listening to a number of different headphones/IEM's at the same time very easy and fantastic for comparing the sound of each with the volume balanced on each. This amplifier sounds great for the price and can drive my Hifiman Edition XS Planar headphone easily. Sound quality is on par with my Fosi Audio SK01 and SK02, but not quite as good as my more expensive amps like DX3 Pro + or the SMSL SH06, but it does come reasonably close. If you turn the volume up full there is a little bit of noise, but if you feed the amp from a source like a DAC, even with my Planar headphones the master volume is less than a 1/3 of the way around. There is no noise at normal listening volumes, but if you don't feed this amp a proper signal then you will need to turn up the volume and may hear some noise.I would highly recommend this amp if you want to listen to more than one pair of headphones at a time or even as good cheaper headphone amp.
