This little camera is great for kids. The package includes everything you need to get started: the camera, a 32GB SD card, the battery, a hand strap, a carrying bag, the USB-C cord and wall adapter, a cleaning cloth, and the manual.Installing the hand strap was challenging, but possible with a small paperclip to help insert the strap through the hook. Once it was attached, it seemed secure. After the hand strap was installed, we installed the battery and plugged the USB-C cord into the camera and the wall to charge overnight. There were no issues with charging the camera.After the camera was fully charged, we turned on the camera and were greeted with a cheery Welcome screen. We then turned off the camera to insert the SD card. When the camera was turned back on, we opened the menu screen to enter the format tab and format the SD card before taking pictures (as the manual instructed). There was no indication that the card was formatting after we pressed the ok button to confirm the action, but the card seemed to be working correctly.With the camera ready to go, we took some pictures. The camera functions are all right at your fingertips. You can zoom in and out with two buttons on the back of the camera. You can also turn the flash on and off, set a delay timer, switch between photos, videos, and playback mode, and enter the menu from the buttons on the back of the camera.From the menu, you can change all of the camera's settings including anti-shake mode, date and time, face detection and smile detection, camera resolution, etc... This camera does not have auto-focus, but that hasn't been an issue so far.All in all, this camera is perfect for my needs. I needed a relatively inexpensive camera for a child to take pictures with during the summer.

My grandson has always loved taking pictures with my phone and my camera. Last year I got him a Polaroid that develops the pictures instantly which is great but the film is expensive so we were running out of film replacements very often. For his 9th birthday this year I decided to get him a camera of his own. He loved the camera! It came with a memory card, a nice little cloth carry bag with a wrist strap, a rechargeable battery which is a plus. It's simple to use. It's very lightweight but does not look cheap. The flash worked fine and the size was just right for him. My only complaint is that there a few small scuff marks as if someone slid it across a table but wasn't terribly noticable. Overall for the price I would recommend this camera it's certainly not a professional grade but for the price it's a nice little camera.

After giving this camera a good tryout I think the best way to describe it is that it fills the same sort of niche that the old Brownie or Instamatic cameras used to fill back in the day. It is very simple to use. You point it at whatever you want to photograph, press the shutter button and the camera does the rest. No fiddling with f-stops, focusing, shutter speeds, etc. A child can use it. In fact, a child would probably love this as a first camera.The big difference is that in the intervening decades we've learned how to make silicon chips do amazing and incredible things and do them dirt cheaply. So this camera can take snapshots like those older film cameras, but it can take more than 100 pictures on one battery charge and they are essentially cost-free unless you decide to print them. Among its many tricks it also has a zoom feature, can detect faces, or make movies. It's mind-boggling that a cheap beginner's camera does all that.Which brings me to why this is a cheap beginner's camera at the same time that it is a technological marvel: the lens. More than any other component the lens is the basis for good picture quality. The lens on this camera is very basic, but quite capable of delivering decent snapshots. If that's what you want from a camera, this is a great choice. The more important that sharp, detailed picture quality is to you, the more likely it is that this camera may disappoint you.Bottom line: this gets four stars because it doesn't pretend it is a high end camera. It sells itself as basic and simple, with some whizzy features you can play with and that is exactly what it delivers. I chose to return mine and purchase a camera costing twice as much, but this one came remarkably close to making the cut.

Stopped working after two months and I can’t get my photos off of it!

Five star review. This camera product has an amazing gift box it comes in with all the basics and a super cute card. The camera is small and compact for a pocket, functionality with a lanyard cord, easy to operate and get a feel for, and especially the downtime, recharging and photos uploading is simple. One can keep all the components in the box neatly for access. The camera photo quality is quite good and zoom is also quite good along with the videos and sound capture. Will certainly capture anything still inside a house or outside a parking lots length away. Best features are quick start up which is important for a quick shot and the timed shut off feature to save battery. Recommended quite good camera for normal usage of photography.
