good purchase
Although initial order has one issue, not fully installed stand, but got replacement and it looks great. So far no complains.

I went on a 5 mile hike in NC
I was hesitant at 1st but my two year old (33lbs) fit perfectly and was snugged. I’m in the military so I’m used to utilizing a rock and moving swiftly, with this. It’s actually really comfortable and you can run or walk up rocky Hill sides or steps. My son absolutely loved it. Which is weird cause he doesn’t like anything like this lol five out of five.

Wore my 35lb toddler for 5 days straight with no pain!
This thing was a life saver. We went on a family vacation to Chicago. We have 4 small kids and really wanted to utilize public transit and also keep up with our older kids while we explored, without lugging a stroller. We aren't new to baby carriers, but this was our first framed carrier. We love it. I think anyone who has a baby/toddler and likes to get out and DO things should own one. My only complaint is that the chest strap snapped on day 2 of our trip/3rd use. I used a strap from my diaper bag and a carabiner clip to keep the straps together on the chest and that worked fine for the rest of the trip. I haven't replaced it permanently yet but I'm sure I'll find something. Our 2 year old LOVES this thing. He asks for it constantly and if he sees it, he demands to get in. He didn't complain about being in it at all and was very comfortable. He likes to get up and go so I was surprised but he had a great view and a comfy seat. He used the sun shade all the time and as long as it was on properly, it didn't interfere with his view (he called it his hat lol). He took at least 1 nap in it every day and was in the pack for 6-8 hours a day (minus breaks). We walked about 15-20 miles per day and neither of us felt weighted down, even though we had his change of clothes, jacket, diapers and wipes, snacks, extra cup, our water bottles, and probably some stuff I'm forgetting inside this pack. We even got caught in pouring rain once and the rain shield kept our toddler and most of the carrier dry. His rain jacket was barely wet and all the stuff inside the zippered area was dry (meanwhile, I was soaked, but that was okay). I hate it took us this long to get one of these. It was life-changing, and even with the broken strap, I'd buy it again.

Great product for getting kids interested in the outdoors
I bought this several years ago and it is a big part how I build a love of the outdoors and environmental stewardship in my daughter. She's a bit too big for it now, but we have some great memories because of what this backpack allowed us to do together.I always found the pack very easy to use, sturdy, and comfortable for me. And my daughter often fell asleep in it, so it must be comfortable for kiddos too. Great features and performance for this price point, compared to "premium brands."

So many benefits!
We love this carrier! Our toddler loved it so much she preferred to stay in it than walk. It came with the sun and rain shield. All the pockets are super awesome. The insulated pocket fit three sandwiches and an ice pack. We hiked with it for four miles and it felt fine. It stands up ok it’s own so I didn’t have to worry about putting it down. My toddler loved the stirrups. Would totally recommend to anyone looking for an affordable carrier. The best part is that it adjusts to different heights depending on who is wearing it so my short wife can wear it comfortably and so va I by adjusting the straps.

Great product. Comfortable for all
We really enjoyed this backpack. We got it specifically for a trip to Yellowstone and it worked out perfectly. So far it's help up great, it's nice and sturdy. The storage in it is nice and our daughter seemed comfortable riding/sitting in it. It's easily adjustable and fits comfortably for both me and my wife. The only thing I wish were different is I wish the child sat a little higher to where she can see over the top instead of looking directly at the back of our head. Also the shade needs to come out a little farther, if you're walking into the sun it doesn't completely shade the child's face. However, we have no complaints. We would definitely recommend this product. For the money we feel it's a great value
