Sturdy and easy to assemble

Arrived two days late, but easy to assemble by my self (75 year old woman) with provided Alan wrench. Appears sturdy and durable. Can be used indoor and outdoor.

Got the 3 tier to use for 2 kayaks, with the top tier to use with a shelf placed on top for storage of paddles and gear. Located in garage so I cant speak to unit's corrosion resistance. -2 stars because I had to use shims to tighten up the connection points, and also some of the welds could be better. +1 star because the width of the vertical bar bottom flange is the same as a 2x4 on end (1-3/4) so that make for easy to mount options if I don't want to use horizontal floor bars in the future.

First, the instructions are for a 2 tier. They said "its the same for the 3 tier, just make the adjustment". Well, unless you have very thin depth kayaks there is no way this will house 3 and not rub or bump. Second, wear nitrile gloves the bolts and nuts will stain your hands black. It feels sturdy with 2 sets of arms and the cross bar. But it won't fit my 3 craft like I bought it for. I should have realized with it being less than 4 feet tall.Yes it would hold 3 flat paddle boards. or 2 flat boards and a skinny kayak. I have a mustang and a catch a third will not fit. I should have gone with my gut! Be warned - only buy if you have skinny kayaks or are using for paddle boards. I will be selling mine as I am past the return window.

This handy 2 tier rack is versatile and makes using your water toys easier and better. You can even use it for your SUP boards and canoes as well.Pretty straightforward and easy to assemble. The rack is sturdy and durable, shelves are adjustable and padded to prevent scratching of the kayaks. The height of it is good because it allows the kids to get the kayaks down without adult assistance. It has kept our kayaks clean so they are ready to use without having to clean them and easier to get into the water and you don't have to worry about them floating away. The rings on the end of the shelves are useful for locking down your water toys. This rack keeps your items protected, saves space and makes them easier to use.

I got this freestanding kayak rack to store my 2 yaks when not in use. It is constructed of heavy duty steel. Assembly was pretty straightforward and took about 10-15 mins. It is shorter than I anticipated, but it does support both yaks well. The arms had a little wiggle to them before I put the yaks on, but the upper kayak is very stable - no wiggle to the rack.I like that the arms have padding to protect your watercrafts and that each arm has anti-theft anchor loop on the end that allow you to lock them down so I can store them outdoors with peace of mind. The sections are coated with a texture which will hopefully hold off rust for a while. Keeps my kayaks up off the ground and keep them cleaner!

This was super easy to put together, we were able to do it fairly quickly. It's been up for a few months and it's incredibly sturdy and doing great so far.
