I bought this first for one of the windows of my conservatory. Mainly to reduce the heat (which it does) and also a bit of privacy as this window backs onto next door.It worked on both counts. It looks fantastic, with rainbow colours when the sun hits my conservatory late afternoon. It was easy to fit. I cut it to the exact size even though it said the add extra 1cm all around, as it slightly stretches anyway and it's not so easy to cut once it's up.Cut to size, peel the top part of the paper off (that's the side that goes on the window, wet the window and sheet with slightly soapy water and slide into place. Because it's wet, you can adjust until it's perfect. I then used a window washing blade I had lying around wrapped in a bit of cloth to squeeze the excess water out from top to bottom. Done.It has been on for a few months now, plently of sunshine on it, and it hasn't peeled or cracked - looks as good a when I first did it.So I bought more, and did my bedroom (office) window (pictured), which would get really hot in the mornings when the sun hit it, but now is great. In fact, the other morning I went to my other bedroom window, which isn't covered when the sun was shinning, and it was noticeably much hotter, I was surprised at how hot, as I had got used to the covering reflecting the heat. It really does make the difference between too hot to work and no issues at all. Absolutely recommended.

When I received this, I initially had misgivings as to how much privacy they would actually give, since the film looks clear when you open it. I was afraid that if I cut the film to try it on my windows, I wouldn't be able to return it if it didn't give me the privacy I wanted. The company contacted me to check I had received my purchase safely, and they reassured me that I could try out the film, and that if not entirely satisfied, they would accept a return and give me a full refund - you can't ask for more than that! I was very pleased with the end result. I could say that the film gives at least 90% privacy. Someone would have to press their face up to the glass to try to peer in and even then, they wouldn't be able to see much. The colours you can see when sunlight hits the film are absolutely beautiful - I often catch myself admiring them throughout the day. I have absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this seller and product.

I live on the first floor directly on the street and was desperate for some privacy, but still wanted to let enough light in and keep my room looking pretty. The film has done that perfectly. It was super easy to apply and there are plenty of videos on youtube if you get confused. The film doesn't have a sticky back, so it won't damage your windows and it can be adjusted if you make a mistake (which I did but quickly learnt how to do it properly). I would highly recommend this film, the rainbows are really pretty, even when there isn't direct sunlight the film still has beautiful rainbows and colours. It isn't too busy, it compliments the room perfectly. People cannot see in from the other side, it is exactly what I was hoping for, thank you so much to the team at Volcanics!

It was beautifully colourful and gives a good degree of privacy.The instructions showing how to put covering onto the windows were very precise and easy to follow.This is now the third time I've bought from Volcanics and have never needed to complain about anything to them.

IT looks beautiful and so charmy all the rainbows that comes out when the light hits it, it just looks beautiful, it changed the whole atmosphere of the kitchen. it's also dull enogh to give privacy but at the same time it dosent block the sun light what is great. It was also very easy to install, I just followed the instructions and I had it done all by my self in 15 minutes. Costumer service was also fantastic, they kimdly checked on me if I was happy with my order, and I got it delivered before expected! I would defenetly buy this again or any other product from this seller!!

I can’t tell you how much I love this. I purchased this as an alternative to nets. Its clean, tidy and makes beautiful rainbows when the sun shines. It looks like pearlescent stained glass in normal light. It’s quite simply transformed the room.Easy to put up as it it’s actually not sticky and relies on the water creating a vacuum I guess. It will be so much easier to remove if needed. It’s really robust so if I wanted to take off and give it a really good scrub I could and then put it back on.

I purchased this film because our large lounge windows needed privacy, but I didn't like how much light blinds or voile panels blocked out. It was pretty easy for my husband and I to apply. We used a vinyl tool kit we got from B&Q for £3, but a stanley knife and credit card wrapped in kitchen roll would've done the same job.This film doesn't block out the light at all and we loved it so much downstairs that we decided to add a panel in our bedroom too. I love the beautiful rainbows it scatters around the room on sunny days. You definitely can't see through the film unless you have your face touching it, but even then everything is distorted. We've had ours up for about a month now with no peeling, bubbles etc.We've actually ordered more and will be putting a strip of it on all our windows, we love it that much!

I bought this as our bathroom had no privacy glass at all. It was delivered the next day even though the delivery time should have been a little longer. I went straight to work putting it up. It came with clear instructions, and was easy to put up (two people does make the job easier if possible, bit I did it no problem by myself).Since I had bought a big roll I had enough to do the outside of my glass shower screen too.The look is beautiful and when the sun or bright halogen lights shine on it, it transforms into a beautiful rainbow. I would recommend this to anyone

This is just what my kitchen slider windows needed! Easy to put up and stayed in place. Great value as I saw them for about triple the price at our local hardware store! Love Amazons great prices!! The color is beautiful when the sun hits it there are rainbows across the room. It’s a great privacy but still lets in the light. Need to get a few more for other areas. Also will try to use in a glass cabinet that we have do the contents care more hidden from sight. Easy to use in fact we moved it to another window to see how it looked then put it back and it performed just as when it was up before.

I bought this product for 2 windows in my apartment. I hated having blinds on my patio door window and wanted more natural light, but also the privacy. This was the perfect solution. I love the colours that appear when light shines through. Very easy to put on, but you will need a squeegee. I bought a shower one from the dollar store. I reccomend.

Great for privacy while still getting lots of light. Pretty easy to put on. You will need to get a squeegee to get all air bubble out.

Wonderful company. The only one to gave reached out to ensure their product arrived on time, and ensure I was happy with it !It gave my old door new life, looks great ! As long as you've got a sharp exacto knife and some patience it will work out nicely. Love the pattern, and my kiddo loves the rainbows it casts !!
