The castor oil is pure, virgin, cold pressed. I use it with coconut oil (from same Co.) and it's giving me good results so far. I'm using this bottle since last 3 months and it's still half full, so I think it will suffice for 6 months at least which is awesome :D

Brilliant stuff! Castor oil is said to be good for the skin and hair, strengthening and promoting growth in the latter.I've been suffering from excessive hair loss in recent years and began massaging the oil into my hair and leaving it on for a few hours regularly before washing. And now after a few months of such usage, I can almost swear I see hair beginning to grow in the receding regions on both sides of my temple (a faint, thin and wispy fringe of growth is visible).Of course other factors such as a focused and better diet consisting of vegetables, fruits, fluids, fish and dry fruit; and regular exercise may have contributed; but the the castor oil from HillDews has done its part and is thus commended by me.Notes:1. The odour (faint smell of burnt oil) may be off putting to some people.2. Being on the thicker side, I usually emulsify the castor oil with olive oil to make it more viscous before applying (in liberal quantities) to my scalp and hair.

My hair started falling littlebit after 1st use..so I am little worried! This oil is very thick so application is very difficult.It can be mix with other oils and can be used..but surely it acts as good coat to dry hair. My dry problem is at bay now. Looking forward for next use results!

It does not have any irritating aroma. I am using it for about 10 days for whole body massage at night along with Neem Oil (50:50) without any carrier oil and than sleep.The best part is: -1. Have used it for a month now. Happy with the results. Major problem I faced was hair fall, which certainly has gone down. I left strands of my long hair where I'd go. I don't see any of it now. So, yes it has helped.My hair was already silky and soft, but this oil has added more life and vitality to them.The package it arrived in was also neat and secure, also let me add that it arrived before the 'arriving by' date.Thank you

Spoke with an Amazon representative about this product which the seller states is Hexane Free. It is not. The bottle does not say so. Neither does the package in which the product came. I do not believe the product is hexane free like the seller says. Seller is saying things like it is Paraben free, Hexane free and mineral oil free. None of these are written on the product bottle or the package. The amazon representative agreed to talk to the vendor and have the product returned for a refund. Not heard from either Amazon or the seller.
