GORE WEARGOREWEAR C5 Opti Bib Shorts+

Really happy with this product. Some are a nightmare when it comes to sizing being well off. This sizes as per the size suggestions. I'm 5"10, around 12 and half stone. L fits well.

Great fit, quality product

Had an eye on these 4 a while, the C5 kept me thinking about them, so with cold weather now upon us, I went for it. Did not fully appreciate they were C5 around the groin area only. OK, but I was miffed to discover the sml C5 area was on a pair of shorts made with pretty thin panels everywhere else. In a more detailed review it even says suited for warm weather !!! I don't get this marriage and might of researched other shorts 1st had I known. So in use today for 3 hrs total ride, with 40mins of stops (outside) & 38miles. Very comfortable pad, a bit tight, probably could of done with XL as I'm 36-38, but I got L as I didn't want loose leg ends for not having xl iron thighs ! The C5 worked a treat, wind was gusty was constant and very cold in open areas, NO CHILLY WILLY ! Temp was around 10 - 12° C with 10- 15mph N.E. wind. I love the white lines & brand marking on leg ends, looks really cool imo. So VERY comfy straps, & pad, tight fit (on me) great C5 groin section, can't fault them at all, except the otherwise thin panels, I did notice there thinness as ride went on & cold started to bite. Still confused at why C5 isn't on a dble skinned pair of shorts suited to cold weather riding, a GORE Mystery I guess. Value 4 £..YES as they were 45% off here on Amazon

Great bib shorts at an affordable price!

Good quality product however, sizing is wrong. Used size guide, checked measurements and garment is about 2 sizes too small. I will return and request larger size though

Great value as I bought at sale price for £50. Nice fit, lightweight and very comfortable.

Ordered a large pair as per the sizing guidelines. Proved to be too small. Asked a professional seemstress to check against a medium pair of the same brand and type, the only difference was the large size were 6mm longer in leg length. All other measurements were the same between medium and large. A disappointing experience as Gore cycle clothing used to be well made and sized.

Fantastic value for the price paid. Comfortable fit and kept me cool riding on one of the few hot days we’ve had this year.Would defo recommend.
