The water in our area is not the best tasting… so I finally ordered this water filtration….and you can absolutely taste the difference! Love how easy it is to use and that I don’t have to plug anything in. Also holds a good amount so we don’t have to refill constantly! Great deal for the price!

I use this in my kitchen because I don't like our tap water. I avoid buying additional plastic if I don't have to so I don't use the store bought water.I love the flavor (so clean and fresh) now that I can get out of this water filter system. It is GREAT. It was easy to set up. The only thing I did somewhat wrong was, I didn't tighten the screws underneath well enough at first. It leaked because of my error. I tightened the screws and there was no leak. SO GLAD I GOT THIS. I also intend to use it while overlanding, unless I am somehow able to buy a 2nd system.Love it and highly recommend it.

I purchased this item, so it saves money on bottled water. It was reasonably easy to put together. It is of good quality. The filters work as described. Initially, I was not happy with the flavor, but I have gotten used to it. Once the two filters need to be changed, I will purchase a different brand of filters to see if the flavor improves. Also, this unit is an ideal size for a gravity system. If you get anything more significant, it will be too heavy to move around when it is full of water.

I bought this unit to use at my off-grid cabin on a mesa in Southern Colorado. We use the community well here on the mesa for all our water needs, but I wasn't confident enough to drink it. For the past couple years, we've been hauling in gallon jugs of spring water. After the price of that water doubled, and growing tired of recycling all that plastic, we decided to try a filtrations system. This system had the best reviews for the price range. After using it for a week, it's exceeded my expectations. I don't know what the few reviews describing a "chemical taste" are about. We've noted nothing at all like that. The water tastes as good as our excellent well water at our home in Northern Michigan. It filters quickly, takes up a relatively small footprint, and looks good. The stainless container is nice looking, but it is thin so care is required not to dent it, but I think that's likely true on all of them on Amazon. I would absolutely buy this unit again.A couple notes: One, we bought a second stand for it because we wanted rubber feet on it to protect our counter. The picture in the Amazon ad shows bare metal feet. But the unit does come with rubberized feet, so that's great. Second, it's important to keep the water level in the filtration up without over filling it. We keep a pitcher of drinking water on the counter. When we fill the pitcher, we replace that same amount in the filtration chamber. The product description clearly states that overfilling it will cause leaks.

I decided to forgo bottled water and, instead, use a filtered system in order to save money and still have healthy drinking water. Everything went well and the directions were simple but within a few minutes there was a leak where the spigot is installed. I dumped the water and tightened everything. Still leaking. I added washers, which were lacking. Still leaking. I realized the curved body was preventing a tight seal because the nut and washers are flat, so it would need curved washers and an indentation in the body so a tight seal can be made. Realizing this was more trouble than it's worth I had to return it and I did find other filters that took these into consideration. Because of this I can't recommend.

Easy to assemble. I loved the fact that the filters themselves were impregnated with silver which acts as a natural bacteria-stat. Which I believe the silver is an important component because bacteria likes to grow in dark, wet places. So the silver allows you to use the filter over its entire life span without fear of bacterial contamination. I have been looking for almost 50 years to find a water filter with silver impregnated in it that is also affordable. So I was very happy to find this one. The silver is the reason I bought from this manufacturer. I got the ceramic filters and the upgraded site glass spigot I think the site glass upgrade is well worth the extra expense. The device comes with 2 filters and you can use one or both filters. Using only 1 is fairly slow, so if speed of the filtration more important use both, if you can wait then using only 1 will save you money, as the filters themselves are not inexpensive. A couple of tips for getting started I didn't see elsewhere. Soak the filter(s) in water before the first use, just put it in a full tank of water upside down and when the bubbles stop coming out of effluent hole its full, this the will speed things up when you first start. Oh, and be sure and remove the plastic wrap the filter comes in. Next I would highly recommend sanitizing both tanks and every thing else except the filters themselves before starting to filtering water. I think Star San is by far the best sanitation product on the market for sanitation but chlorine and iodine are both cheaper. I figure at 2 gallons a day or approximately 350 gallons a year each filter should last close to 10 years. However I plan to getting some extra filter while I can still find them.

The manufacturer sent filter to replace the broken one right away. Great customer service, thank you! The assembly is pretty simple. Most components assembled ok but one filter came apart in two pieces when I went to remove the plastic wrap. I didn't find a way to post a photo when I contacted the seller so this is the post with the photo. I don't want to return this after I spent the time putting it together. Since it can function with only one filter, I'll use it with only one filter for now and hopefully the seller makes things right and sends a replacement for the broken filter. Thank you!
