I have owned a pair of silicone gloves for awhile and were disenchanted with their performance. They seemed to cut my dexterity to about half. BBQ Dragon makes good stuff so I decided to try their fitted gloves. I say fitted because me silicone ones had all the fingers combined. The Dragon gloves are a traditional finger glove.The first chance I had to test the gloves was doing kabobs of shrimp and mushrooms on my grill. I have a set of metal kobobs with a ring end that gets VERY hot. With the gloves, I was able to easily turn the kobobs. I was using a wet paper towel because the silicone gloves were about impossible to get a grip. The Dragon gloves have almost no dexterity loss. This is a big plus.Inside, I have used the gloves in place of potholders for oven baked goodies. I feel much more confident removing a large and expensive roast from the oven with these gloves. The no-slide patches really help.Pros: Retains dexterity. Can't feel flare-ups or heat from the grill. Cotton liner is comfortable.Cons: A little tight but I do have larger than average hands.

I love these. They keep my hands safe when grilling on my kamado.

Pros: good value, looks good, quality seems goodCons: resistance ok, I picked up my ceramic pizza dish and had to drop it cracking it as heat went right through the glove. Not enough heat resist silicone. Size is small for my hands and I bought the largest size.

These gloves are the BEST so far we have 3 different types and none have protected our hands from the heat of a BBQ as these ones. 👍

Keeps your hands from getting hot for about 10 seconds on really hot things right out of the oven. The silicone spots will be hot after using them. I have not had any melting or any other issues with them yet.

I know corny way to start a review. I do like these gloves, use with my Kamado Joe grill. I can pick up divide and conquer grill system with confidence. They are long enough to cover forearms so you can reach into fire pit to add fuel or wood. I use a lot of cast iron and I would still recommend carrying pans with two hands to relieve hot spots cause by the handle if you carry with one hand (learned the hard way...ouch). But no issues if I carry with two hands . I would buy these again without hesitation.

The gloves only lasted for about half the summer when they started to tear and that was from just normal use. I wish we could get a replacement for the next BBQ season.
