package came intact, and the baking soda itself is good quality. I read other reviews on different ones and many reported packaging was open/torn with a mess inside or other issues but this brand had good reviews, so I went with this one and the label states chemical and aluminum free which I feel is important as other food grade ones do not. I'm glad I bought this kind and will purchase again.

This is the only Organic/Aluminum free Sodium Bicarbonate that I found on the internet. I use it to balance my PH and for GERD/LPR. I think it is more cost effective than buying alkaline water to kill the pepsin in the throat as Dr. Jamie Koufman has recommended on her blog. So far it has worked. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the amount of sodium bicarbonate in the package is only 1/3. I wish it would come at least half full.

Good product! I take take it with 2 lemons. I juice 2 lemons and 1 scoop of this. Alkalines the body I read.
