Needs lots of updates at start.
UPDATE - I have updated windows and Nvidia drivers and all else. Seems like everything is working better so just a pain in the A set up. I’m changing the rating because maybe I was a little harsh. The laptop does seem to run really good and it is fast. So basically you just have to update a lot of stuff. Windows will have many driver updates. After all the updates it seems like it’s doing ok. Before the updates the laptop would crash games like AOE4. Not sure why but it was super annoying to be honest. This laptop crashes more than it does anything else. I have updated every driver, and we just are having the worst time playing any games. Very laggy, crashes and closes programs. I'm very disappointed as this is my first purchase I’m super regretting.

Good value for the price
I picked this up partly as an upgrade to my more than 10 year old desktop and partly to keep myself occupied at work. So far it's about what I expected, pretty snappy for a laptop. The face recognition you can set up to use as a login works great as well so you can secure your laptop without having to remember a password.Someone gave a review complaining that Steam didn't work but it works fine for me. I suspect maybe they had driver or firewall issues. This came with Norton preinstalled, which I promptly uninstalled (I prefer Windows Defender). Steam did complain about me having old GPU drivers but a quick install of the Nvidia App fixed that and now my steam games work great.Battery life looks like it may be hit or miss. Depending on what I'm doing it tells me I have between 2 hours and 8 hours left when the battery is fully charged. I suspect it'll be closer to 2 but that's ok I can just plug it in most of the time.

Get a Mackbook Pro instead. Not a good choice for your money.
Horror story to deal with this laptop model as good as it looks on paper is a pure trash on performance, laud, slow dealing with big files on Lightroom, the color accuracy is not good to work with video 4:2:2 10bit. Sound quality is OK but not great. Updates are often a headache with this device. I return mine and yet till today’s date I haven’t get a refund 2 months later. Avoid the headache and get a MacBook Pro M4 or latest.

BEAST laptop!
I'm a big time WoW raider, and this BEAST of a computer is the best for my warlock's performance!!! If you not only work remotely but game remotely, this laptop is definitely for you!

Single channel **update** **4/9/24**
***update 4/9/24***Just recently, the graphics started to malfunction. I'm not sure it's it's the Nvidia or the Intel graphics. I'm a little nervous that it's going to malfunction and I'll have lost nearly $3000. There is plenty of cooling to it and it is my stationary machine somits not transported. So far, everything is great out of box. The only gripe is that the HDD and the ram are single and not dual channel. For the price it's still a fantastic deal!!! I'll just get a 2tb HDD and another 32 gig to dual channel for better performance.**Finally got it set up in place of my GE66. The purpose was to get one I can have as a home/backup for portability in case the other one went down. Having set it up where it'll stay, I do have one gripe about the machine build itself. At this price point, the screen doesn't offer a lot of wiggle room. By that I mean it doesn't open as far as expected since it's a beast of a machine with a lot of power under the hood that would require a heating pad and/or elevation for extra flow. I'll have to figure out something to use as a platform to raise the cooling pad so my neck doesn't suffer (see images). Keeping it though since it's packing what it is at the low cost it was.**

get this
it’s a great laptop, you can game and stream on has a very loud fan but i don’t mind its a powerful little thing. make sure you buy a cooling pad

Good value for the price, not 5 stars proprietary power adpt and inability to use USB-C to charge.
Decent value for price. I'm not in any way a SUPER gamer, but I play things and expect great QUALITY of image. Provides both on both built-in screen and attached 37in WIDE high-res, so Mobile RTX 4070 delivers. Fans are about what you would expect for a gaming laptop, can't really hear them with headphones on...The proprietary power supply, totally not cool. Could have gone with USB-C, or barrel plug using 19v like other laptop brands so there would be inexpensive adapters for deploying to different locations rather than paying extra for proprietary one. Otherwise, perfectly fine, 100% working and cosmetic condition, despite buying open box/return... Ok, sure, packaging was not perfect, but everything was there.

Exactly what it says it is!
Looked around for an i9-14900 and this was it! Lots of power, lots of memory, pre-key RGB keyboard, 4070 GPU. What's not to like? Had it about two weeks and it renders my graphic novel 50% faster than my usual computer and saves me lots of time between 3D renders. Hitler in America if you're interested here on Amazon.
