Absolutely gorgeous
A very nice tasting rum. It's definitely more of a sipping drink, anything more and it can be a little harsh. Definitely some absolutely gorgeous flavours coming through though. Will recommend and would definitely buy again.

Smooth sipping
A great sipping rum. Smooth and reminiscent of a butterscotch sweet with perhaps a trace of banana. Very slight hint of ethanol at the finish without the burn. Best consumed straight as mixers really flatten out the flavour.

Very Nice Rum but a Little Overpriced and Flat
This is a nice rum, and 90% of people will enjoy it. As far as I can tell, it doesn’t have added sugar, which is rare these days since most rums do. It’s very smooth, with a taste profile that’s actually similar to bourbon whiskies. The only downside is the price—I think at over £32, it’s definitely overpriced. I bought it on sale for £28, and I’d say £30 is about the max it’s worth. It’s also a bit flat-tasting; I wish it had more character and complexity. But overall, it’s a very good rum.

Nice rum
A really nice sipping and mixing rum. I am a big fan of diplomatico rum and this is just as good

Great gift my friend loved it
I recently purchased the Flor de Caña 12yr Rum (70cl, 40% ABV, Sustainable) as a gift for a friend, and I'm thrilled to report it was an absolute hit! They were genuinely delighted with it, and their reaction alone tells me this is a truly special spirit. While I didn't personally taste it, the enthusiasm with which they received it speaks volumes. They immediately commented on the elegant presentation, and from what they've said since, the rum itself lives up to the hype.Knowing that Flor de Caña is also committed to sustainability made this an even more appealing choice. It's fantastic to be able to give a gift that's not only high quality but also produced responsibly. If you're looking for a sophisticated and much-appreciated gift for a rum lover, or even for yourself, I wholeheartedly recommend the Flor de Caña 12yr. It clearly makes a lasting impression!

Smooth Golden Rum at a Decent Price
First of all this is NOT a spiced rum and should be compared to golden Caribbean style rums from Barbados, Cuba, etc as well as other rums from Central America. Flor de Cana 12 is rich and smooth, great for sipping over ice or with diet cola, for a longer tipple.
