Great as usally from RODE top quality and great sound comes in very handy with my Cage.

Looked good at first sight. Sound would start well then it would sometimes sound like you are under water. So had to keep checking it was still working properly when filming….. very annoying.Then the bit that goes into the iPhone snapped off. Hardly any metal to hold it together, tiny bit of plastic. It needs redesigning so it’s not just holding on by the tiny bit that goes in the iPhone.When it worked properly sound was good. Not worth the money though and didn’t get to 3 months use.Amazon customer service are great sending a new one out next day as replacement. But I wouldn’t buy one of these again.

I'm glad that it's basically plug and use on my Samsung phone. Very easy to setup and it works well on both sound and video recordings. There is no gain control though, which means it automatically adjust the input volume (with compression perhaps) to prevent clipping. The sound quality is significantly better than the internal microphone. Just notice that it is mono, not stereo, so it is perfect for one voice or instrument, but not for many instruments playing together. I like the light with color filter, and the clamp works well on tripod.

I like it a lot, it really improves the sound, but sometimes the audio is clipping and I have never established why...

It's small and you just plug it in to your phone and off you go, but the sound isn't much better than your iPhone. Slightly better, but not way better. I was disappointed. And for the price it's not really worth it. Better to fork out for a Yeti and plug that in to your phone (you have e to fork out another £25 for the Apple camera converter as well), because then, with a longish wire, it can be right close to you, which will always give better sound. But if you were out and about this could be in your pocket and would be better than just your phone.

I purchased this to increase the quality of my YouTube videos for my channel. The previous films suffered from wind noise and picked up a lot of background sounds that I didn't want. But this product produce high quality clear sounds without any noises.To decrease wind noise, the microphone comes with a wind muffler. Overall, I highly suggest this if you want to utilise your videos for anything.

easy to use, just plugs into the lightning jack, the spur however is small so if you have a large case you will have to take the phone out of the case.

Feels well-made, but didn't work. Tried two different iPhones with nothing but silence on any recorded videos.

Has worked well! At first there would be very invasive static noise about 15 seconds into any recording, but it was fixed by updating firmware on the device via the official Rode app. Expect to do this update before it starts working properly.

The media could not be loaded.  Hoy compré este micrófono en el kit de Vloggerkit. Lo uso en un Samsung S10e y al empezarva grabar, entre poco se escucha un ruido. Lo escucho 1 vez cada minuto de uso. Yo no puedo grabar una fiesta con ese desperfecto. Si compré un micrófono fue para mejorar el audio, no para arruinarlo.

Well this product may be a little expensive for what it is but let me tellya is worth it. Mic is very good (what else would you expect from Rode?) and the light even though is very small it will blind you. I think they could've made a box for travel since is for Vlogging but mmmm... still 5 stars product.

Yo hago contenido en redes sociales y me ha sido de gran utilidad porque al grabar, el micrófono elimina los sonidos indeseados y con la felpa también se elimina el ruido del viento. No me encanta que existe lag entre que presionas grabar y el video realmente empieza. También siento que el puerto lightning esta muy expuesto y corre peligro con un mal uso. Igualmente no es posible usarlo si tu iPhone tiene una funda. Muy recomendado para mejorar el audio en grabaciones a corta distancia y eliminar ruidosa, sin sacrificar la practicidad, ya que es solo conectarlo y usarlo.
