nice laser sight
nice laser sight, seems very rugged and well built, should last a while. its very small, almost disappears on my PPQ. would be great for compact ccw pistols as well. the button is small but so it the laser, works ok though not hard to find thanks to the nub at the back end of the laser. was very easy to adjust to co-witness with my iron sights. my only experience prior with the lasers was on a LC9 with the laser max setup. this one is as bright as the laser max was maybe not as bright as some. probably wont be a daytime at the outdoor range sight system. but thats not what i got it for. its for low light home or self defense use. at that i think it will work great. personally if i was choosing one for daytime use at 20 yards or more id look for one with more power. mines the red so it might not show as well as the green one. i like this one though for its size price and quality build, im probably going to get another.

Great Micro Laser
Small and to the point! The weight is minimal and the operation of turning it off and on are so easy. I have it mounted to my full size M&P 9mm, and it went on without any hassle. The firearm is used primarily for my wife's home defense weapon. So I installed the laser in a 3 locations to see what felt best for her. I then used a laser bore sight to sight this laser in (it was pretty close right out of the package, but this will change depending on how far away your target is) to the distance from her side of the bed to the bedroom door. Again, these variables will change for you according to what you will be using the laser for. As far as operating the laser, mounting, and adjusting to re-zero it could not have been easier and would recommend this to someone looking for a minimal laser that is fair priced.

First unit was defective on the elevation, got a new one and it works fine.
Works as expected, but it does not fit the Taurus PT111 Millennium G2 quite right. The threaded screw fits into the slot on the Picatinny rail so the on/off buttons are a little far forward for someone with small fingers. Not impossible, just adds a second to turn it one. Keep in mind, there is zero up/down adjustment. Right to left only. You have to account for you bullet to hit above the dot.On the plus side, it is really small and does not interfere with my conceal holster at all.Okay, final update. Either I got a bad unit, or the elevation adjustment if HORRIBLE. It will NOT adjust UP at all. It's off a full INCH from 3 feet away. The up adjustment screw just starts backing out of the unit. Nothing I tried will get the elevation adjusted correctly. Already threw away the packaging based on my first two reviews so no way to send it back. Guess I stuck with a very small paper weight. Spend the extra $$ and get a better unit.Yet another update (02/10/17): After the above comment, I used the TruGlo contact page to show my displeasure in the the item. To my surprise, I was contacted the next morning via email that they waived the $12.50 return fee (but I still had to pay $7 to ship it) and gave me an RA #. Shipped in Tuesday, got a new one fed-ex on Friday. Put it on the gun and the elevation was actually up, a 3/4 turn down and a very slight windage adjustment and the laser was sighted in for 30 feet perfectly. In my email to them, I was not asking for a replacement, just telling them how bad it was. Cudo's to TruGlo for taking the initiative to take the laser back without the packaging or anything but the allen wrenches and giving me a new unit back. Upping to 4 stars since the laser is fine, but they loose one star for having a defect in the first place.

Awesome Laser Light, Don't Waste Time And Money On A Cheaper One!
Don't be like me and waste your time, money and patience on cheaper laser sights. Just suck it up and pay the money for this one. This laser is so much better than the ones that are cheaper that it isn't even a real comparison. The Micro-Tac is the smallest laser sight that I have found without spending hundreds. The switch is easily accessible for either hand. The switch is also pretty much flush with the side of the sight and is impossible to snag or catch on anything, which also means that it won't get activated accidentally. The mount is very secure and easy to install with no modifications. Battery life is better than I thought and much better than cheaper sights. While it is very small, it will require a holster that is designed to accept a rail mounted sight, don't think that because it is so small that you can get it in a standard holster. Having said that, with a proper holster, I don't see how this sight would cause a problem with drawing the weapon or the switch getting activated. Also of note, the adjustment screws for the laser are a great quality, with some friction so they don't change with recoil and the adjustment it self feels better...tighter...well, just not as sloppy and cheap as the others I have but will now throw away because they aren't even good enough to give to anyone. Maybe it was just luck, but my sight, after install, was dead-on at 15 yards and it required very little adjustment.

Failed after 4 months, 300 rounds of 9mm
Updated: It stopped working for no reasons, no drop no bang no damage. Replacing with brand new batteries did not bring it back. Failed after 300 rounds, not reliable at all.Well constructed, light, compact, yet very pratical and accruate. One thing to complain is that the bolt should locate in the center/middle of the clamp. If you realy tighten it up you will see one side of the clamp would not be parallel with the other side.

Works great on airsoft. NOT on 9mm pistol carbine
Great little laser. Fits on top rail on my roni pistol carbine. The only issue i have is it doesnt hold zero after 3 to 5 shots on a 9mm.....which is crucial on a laser.Maybe i received a defective one. Gave it to my son for his airsoft. Works perfect for him. Wish it worked for my pistol carbine....for the price anyway.
