So cool, the focus ring makes the images so clear. Great for short range, zoom is limited.

Pleasantly surprised! After getting it charged up and waiting for nighttime, I took it out into the side yard and took a picture. I thought for the cost I thought it wasn't bad. The resolution could be better but again this didn't cost an arm and a leg. It comes with a manual, memory card, a neck strap and an USB cable. The buttons, and focus are easy to use and the menu is user friendly. It says you can use the cable to connect to a computer to do a data transfer, but my laptop wouldn't recognize the night vision goggles. So, I had to remove the memory card and insert it into my laptop. When in std mode the viewing screen is full color. The resolution in std mode seems to be better than IR mode. It is very light weight and honestly, I wouldn't want to accidently drop it because it doesn't seem beefy enough to handle the drop. it would have been nice if it would have come with attached lens and screen cover. Until, I get a protective case I'll continue to use the padded protective box that it came in.

I did not know what to expect when I ordered these. They came quickly and in perfect condition. I had to wait until dark to give them a try. I was blown away at their effectiveness. Out in my neck of the woods,, when the sun goes down, it's dark out. Can't see your hand in front of your face dark. I normally go out and call. my dogs shortly after dark so they can come in for the night. Instead of calling them, I used my thermal vision to pin point there place in the yard. I was absolutely amazed. I can even check on the horses without turning on any lights. While they are made of plastic, they are well made and are pretty sturdy. They should last years with just the minimum of care. I love them and I highly recommend them.

So, there's not much else to say other than this does not help you see at night. I went into a dark room at night, flipped kn night vision mode and saw...nothing. I flipped throug every setting and saw nothing. I went into my garage that has windows that allow some streetlamp light to get in and barely saw something white three feet in front of me. I went into my backyard and faced away from the streetlights and even with a clear, starry sky, I didn't see anything. The only time the night vision worked was when I was literally looking in the direction of a clear light source and could clearly see with my own two non-night vision eyes. Maybe I'm mistaken but night vision is meant to help one see in the absence of light? This device does not.There is a non night vision function that gives slight magnification in full light and you can take video and snapshots with it, but it's quality is subpar to a smartphone, so that feature isn't even worth using either.

The media could not be loaded. Night vision on this works really well. Recording and pictures can be seen below. The single trees over the river are about 810 feet from my back deck. I feel like that is a good maximum optimal range on these. Trees to the north of me with the car and lawn tractors in the wind break is about 160 feet. Very good at that range. The video format is AVI, I had to convert it to MP4 to upload it here. These do NOT record zooming in or out. The video here looks a lot more grainy than they do on the unit themselves, obviously because of the smaller screen. I was even able to catch a couple of geese flying by on the video . The close range pictures indoors looked very clear on the screen but the pictures are distorted and blurry. All in all, this is a very inexpensive unit for what it is capable of in my opinion. If you need something better, just be ready to shell out a lot more.

Sceptical but it actually works! Don’t expect much but it does what it says

Love it! So I at first was a bit disappointed just using it around the house. It doesn’t have the nicest guild quality build quality or anything but, Then I took it outside at night. It focuses well and everything seems to work. I was so impressed how well it focuses. It would be nice if it came with lense protectors that stayed on besides the sticky ones it comes with.

This has been a real fun product. I do wildlife work and sometimes have to monitor nocturnal behavior. These have been really helpful and interesting in general to see what's going on when the sun goes down. It took a little tinkering to get the settings dialed in, but was able to figure out with the very comprehensive manual provided. Also, takes some getting used to where the buttons are and what to push while you're looking through. Only wish it was bigger so these tired eyes could see it better. Haven't used the image/video functions yet. Clarity is pretty good, not excellent. But is good for the price point. Good value for an introductory night vision binoculars.
