Consistency/thickness is comparable to aloe Vera gel or hand sanitizer gel. No scent. Colorless. No irritation.I used aquaphor on my tattoos for the last 13 years, but wanted to try something specific to tattoo healing. My tattoo artist is a fan of mad rabbit so I decided to try it. 10/10. Quality feels great. If im comparing it to aquaphor, it sets a lot less thick. Almost no sticky after feel if you leave it be. Does not make your fresh tattoos stick to your clothes. Seems to absorb into the skin well. I have less flaking and almost no itching during the healing process. Feels moisturized. The ink stays vibrant. I’ll be using this from now on for all my tats

Awesome product and will definitely continue to use as I get more ink done. My wife and I got our tattoos 6 days ago and wanted to use the product for at least 5 days before leaving a review. Our tattoos looks great and are healing Awesome. I definitely recommend mad rabbit products to all.

I have a brand new tattoo on the top of my hand, a spot pretty vulnerable to bumps and scrapes during the healing process. I used to use H2Ocean products but someone mentioned that they preferred Mad Rabbit so I thought I'd give it a try. This stuff is incredible. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly, leaving a very thin, slightly shiny layer of protection. I don't find it to be tacky or sticky at all once it dries and the barrier it offers lasts for hours. It didn't burn or irritate the skin at all, even the day after the ink was done. There's no odor. My only complaint is with the rubber regulator that controls how much product comes out of the tube - it's damn near impossible to eke out a small amount because of the amount of pressure required to get that thing to release anything. I end up screwing off the top so I have better control over quantity, but that's the only negative. Otherwise, it's smooth, soft and soothing.

I absolutely love this stuff. I’ve had a large tattoo that I’ve had done in two different sessions about 8 months apart, both are healing beautifully. I have found this product helps a lot with itchiness and with the peeling process. It keeps everything moist but not overly moisturized while soothing tender, red skin. It gets a little tacky on my hands after applying it but it doesn’t make my tattoo stick to my clothes or feel tacky. It doesn’t leave any hazy residue on the skin. I’ve found less is more. I apply it at least 3 times a day initially after washing the area. I gradually decrease the frequency as everything heals up. I won’t use anything else at this point, I’m a huge fan!

I really like the formula and feel of this gel. It's really hydrating while not being too thick. It's also really cooling when you feel the heat from a fresh tattoo. The ONLY reason I have to put 4 star is either I got a faulty tube or it's designed where it shoots out of the tube EVERYWHERE even if you barely squeeze. It projectile shot on my wall but I just take the cap off or squeeze gently into my hand to catch because it kind of dispenses way too much. Overall love the product just not the tube it comes in.

Burns when first put it on but relieves the itchy of a fresh tattoo, doesn't smell the best but helps 100% with peeling!

The Repair soothing gel works fantastic! I wash, dry, and apply the gel three times a day as instructed by my artist. It's healing really fast, pain free, and no itching! Today is day 9 with 5 more days to go and I don't anticipate any issues. Thank you Mad Rabbit!

This stuff is awesome. I recently had work done and was a two session tattoo. After the 1st session I started using the gel and it truly felt like it sped up the process. Within a week I was done peeling and close to fully healed. By the next session (3 weeks later) it was completely healed. I thought maybe I got lucky? So I used it again after the 2nd session and same thing, pretty much done, scabbed and healed alot quicker than in the past.This stuff feels light and cool when you put it on. Careful because when you squeeze the tube, you either get a tiny bit, or a gigantic squirt and get too much. It’s all good stuff so I just use it on my older tattoos to not waste it.Anyway, this stuff is great. Does not feel greasy at all.
