The story of Lotus Biscov began in 1932 at a local bakery in Renbecke, Belgium town but the story of Lotus Biscov Cookie Butter (Lotus Specular Pasta) began in Belgium in early 2007 with a simple yet great idea. Cooking enthusiasts Else Sheppers thought to create a creamy spread with the taste of Lotus Biscoff cookies. Scheppers participated in the leading Belgian TV show "De Bedenkers - The Inventors" and competed with other 2,000 participants. She couldn't finally win the competition, but Lotus Bakeries discovered the potential and completed the recipes from Shippers. The result is a new culinary joy in 2009. Lotus Bisscow Cookie Butter is a smooth spread made from famous Lotus Biscov cookies available in creamy or crunchy forms. Lotus Biscoff Creamy Cookie Butter is smooth and unprecedented consistency, but the Crunchy version features all over Lotus Biscoff Cookie Bits for extra crispy taste.
