The best ever! (..a veterinarian and an amateur horn player here and for my 40y playing, since the high school, I changed a dozens of horns, all being leaky. This is the first time I completely solved leak problem..)Monster came as a "kinder garden crayon package" and I I was instantly happy, (an interesting effect), then I applied slide grease and a valve oil and played for a while... product is, hands down... Fantastic!!!!

Every beginning horn player needs a kit with all of the items needed for your "musical friend". Experienced horn players should carry a small kit that has all of the items they might need when they are playing away from home. This one is so small, it can be placed in the closed horn case. This particular kit has a short piece of valve string, which will come in handy some day when a string breaks at an inopportune moment. (Yes, speaking from years of experience, it will, when you least expect it!) The other items are all useful. I'm new to brass instruments and the instructions on the package were very helpful and clear. However after using one end of the brush on the long wire a few times, the brush came off inside the pipe! fortunately it was w/in reach of long nose pliers and I got it out. I have since gorilla glued the brush back on and will keep my fingers crossed it doesn't happen again. Thank you for a overall good product.

The oil dispenser is so neat and easy to use. Very functional.

I bought this product to take care of my school instrument as it was my first time playing horn. It made the cleaning and maintenance process a lot easier as I could simply look at the product and find a video or ask my teacher how to use it. I kept a few of the products in my case like the tuning slide oil and the grease and it never melted or got to hot. Overall it is great for beginners and I would recommend switching to better products as you move up in instrument quality and price.

This kit has everything needed for a student to properly maintain a French horn, the individual items are all high quality, and the sturdy bag it's packed in can be zipped closed for easy storage. Bonus: really read the entire label and all inserts! They clearly explain why properly cleaning your horn is extremely important, and manage to explain it in a way that is both humorous and unforgettable.
