WiFi Security Camera, Baby Monitor Wireless Camera, 2.4Ghz Indoor Camera with Night Vision, Reverse Call, 2-Way Audio, Motion Detection, with iOS Android App

I bought this because I have a lot of expensive computer equipment which I tend to worry about when spending time away from home. Compared to the more expensive systems on the market I thought there might be a shortcoming compromising the effectiveness of the security but so far this product does everything I wanted it to do - that is provide peace of mind when away from home – for a cheap price.Setting up was fairly straight forward but I did have an issue binding my phone (iPhone SE) to the camera via the downloadable app. The instructions ask for a quiet environment when transmitting the sound wave but as I live right next to a busy motorway it took about 5 minutes of constant transmitting before a bind was achieved. Everything else, however, has worked smoothly.The camera has a good field of view and the motion detection system not only triggers a fairly loud alarm when activated but also triggers an audible alarm on the phone (wherever you are) to let you know that motion has been detected. And with two-way communication you can not only see an intruder from your phone (as well as take a picture or begin recording video) but audibly warn them that police are on the way. I’ve done tests regarding this and everything is working great (if going on a trip/holiday I would double check, however, that everything is connected and working before leaving home).So far I’m very happy with this device. I’ll be spending about ten days away from home this Christmas and will update this review on return if I’ve encountered any issues.Update: 05/01/2019I’ve just returned from a nine day trip and the security cam has worked exactly as I hoped it would. It’s great to be able to see (and hear) exactly what’s occurring in and around your flat from a hotel room 300 miles away. My landlord is currently undertaking garden path reconstruction and I could clearly pick up the builders conversation even though they were outside. I never lost wifi connection during the nine days but do note that the position of my camera is only three feet from my router.The only issue was that the alarm went off three times and on checking my phone I couldn’t see any reason for it (it’s possible a fly or other insect could have triggered the motion sensor) but fortunately the alarm can be switched on and off directly from the phone. The camera has three motion sensitivities which are default, high grade, and low grade – assumingly corresponding to different amounts of motion needing to be detected before the alarm is triggered, but I don’t know how effective this is.It also appears you can’t take a picture or record video directly onto your phone which is slightly confusing as the phone indicates it is recording but I could not locate any video files on the phone itself. It would appear you can only record onto a memory card inside the security camera (I haven’t fully read the instructions so I might be missing something here).All in all I’m very happy with this device. It works exactly like I hoped it would and I can fully recommend it.

I have had this camera over a year but lately it's been going offline a lotThis morning it will not connect at all. And is making an odd clicking sound and the led light keeps flashing.I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the software and unplugged the camera for a while. Nothing has resolved the issue.Please can you advise a fix

I was impressed that all you do with this camera is download the app and plug the camera in. The app leads you through the set up process which is really simple. The camera looks stylish and has a stand with a magnetic base (if required) so it's stable for good picture quality. The resolution of the camera looks great on my phone, even in lower light levels. It has a 110 degree viewing angle which is pretty good in most rooms. I bought this to keep an eye on a new puppy when we are out and it does the job really well. It has two way audio, which is hilarious when I want to talk to the puppy. And I can tell if he is barking or making any other noise. I'd highly recommend this as a baby monitor or puppy monitor or as internal CCTV.

I had a problem with an animal getting entry into my house and stealing any food left out on any kitchen unit. After weeks of lying in bed with one eye open I invested in this item to: a) identify the perpetrator and b) set of an alarm to scare the critter. I achieved this and now I have re-employed to monitor my dogs whilst at work. High quality video and easy to set up. Cracking

We have recently received this camera which was due to be used indoors. The quality of the video is pretty decent and the camera seems to be well built. However there are other issues which determined us to return it - the camera has a very loud speaker that cannot be turned down or switched off. Once the camera disconnects from Wifi for any reason, the loudest voice will announce this, so the neighbours will know as well. The same disturbing voice will give you repetitive instructions during the installation. The camera also makes a loud mechanic lengthy noise when it switches on the IT LEDs for night vision. A good looking product however it is a shame it cannot be adjusted.

Update 23rd July 2019. Recently has had a software update and can now get full screen on my phone. Well happy. Had teething issues dropped out a few times and had to reboot. But has been stsble for a few months. So now I have changed my mind AND is now BETTER than Sricam.Will start by saying for me not as good as my last camera by Sricam. Viewing is the most important thing as that is what it is for. Cannot get a full screen view on my android phone. Yes can enlarge slightly & zoom in, but no full screen viewing.

First couple of days this camera worked without issue. Now I have to constantly reconnect it to the app and WiFi otherwise is claims the camera is offline (which it definitely isn't, because nothing else in the house is offline).

everything is good with this camera except the sound quality of speaking to your pets , it is just a mangled mess and your pet will never recognise your voice commands
