Hi there, a medium accommodates up to a 34'' waist, and a size large accommodate a size 35'' waist to 37''.

Q: I have a 27" waist and a 36" inseam. which size pants and shirts should i order? ps, i'm female but no one has my inseam it seams.

I have a 31" waist and 31" inseam. The men's Medium size fits me well. Good luck from Seattle

Q: are these good for working out in the garage or doing yard work when it's about 50 degrees?

They are very comfortable, so I do not see why they would not work well under those conditions. I wore these for extra warmth walking many miles throughout Japan in November of 2022. The temperature in the morning was around 45F to 54F.
