Yes, sometimes the meat sticks. But I have found if you leave it on the burger as it cooks for the first 30 seconds the melted fat will let it come off with a little twist as you lift without sticking.

The material thickness of stainless steel base plate measuring 0.06 inch(1.5mm), heavy duty and thick enough

Only difference is size the 5.5 is smaller but comes with dome. The 6.2 seems heavier and unless you really want dome it seems better I have both.
