Good looking, well made, and functional
I think this coat is a solid investment - it looks great, has nice attention to detail, and the construction feels very well made. If you're looking for a great peacoat, this may fit the bill. The coat is much higher quality than the similarly priced stuff at department stores, so it will satisfy anyone looking for a low-cost peacoat; the look, fit, and materials rival that of coats made by popular American and European design houses as well- so it may satisfy those looking at significantly more expensive options (it did for me).Weight of the coat is good - lighter than a Navy peacoat, but heavy enough to feel substantial.Insulation is very good - body temperature feels appropriately regulated and keeps me warm in wind and cold. The nautical buttons are great and several extras are provided (though the buttons are all stitched on very sturdily already!).

Fits a little large, but great quality, warm and stylish
I bought the large (I am 5'10'' and 180) and it feels a little large on me, even with a sweater underneath (although I tend to prefer slim fitting coats). It is a thick felted wool, terrifically warm, and I get many compliments on the color and cut. My only problem is with the shallow depth of the outside pockets; you should keep an eye on your phone if you want to carry it there.

Excellent Item
I had a pea coat, but it seemed that the quality was just OK and since it is my primary cold weather coat I thought I should try to find a better one. This Spiewak coat exceeded my expectations. In terms od quality, it is light years ahead of my previous pea coat. There is really no comparing the two coats. The price I paid on Amazon was actually ridiculously low for this coat, but even if I had paid three time as much I would have been 100% satisfied. The weight, sewing, attention to detail, etc. simply could not be better.

Very pleased with this pea...
First off, I got this coat at a STEAL of a price ($48! for a XXL in Black)It's quite comfortable and quite warm here in the great state of WI. I was looking for something to dress up my normal business wear, and this fit the bill to a "T". It's a classic that I feel will always be in style.

Beautiful coat, great price.
Beautifully well-made pea coat with excellent detailing. The insulation in the lining and the wool/cashmere blend make this coat a must have for winter. My husband received this product for Christmas and wears it frequently. He is an XL, and the XL I ordered fit perfectly, so I cannot verify the other reviewers' statements that this coat runs large. (However my husband is muscular, so that may affect the sizing.) Researched this manufacturer and model, and Nordstrom wants $250 for the same product. This seller had it on sale for $98 plus shipping. Very happy with my purchase!

the coat is great but the only problem was the width of the sleeves. They are looks so big as if it made for those who have muscles so we had to fix the sleeve at tailors . Be careful he should be a clever tailor.

Great coat
I like this coat. I purchased it to replace my older Spiewak pea coat that got a bit pilly after years of use. It is solidly made and very warm. It is a good looking coat as well. They do quality stitching on this coat and the buttons are sturdily attached. I would say my last one held up for 3 - 4 years before I decided to upgrade to a new one.

Outfreakingstanding!
This coat is quality right out of the box. I'm a large but fit guy who is tired of having to wear baggy clothing because I have broad shoulders and chest. I gave this coat a chance and BAM! Plenty of room in the chest and shoulders but tapers down perfectly below. No more trash bag look for me in the winter tIme.
