Good glass and stylish. Produces a nice ringing sound when tapped.
I love IPAs and my ale glasses occasionally get broken. I bought these as replacements and they hold a pint. The glass was surprisingly thin but usage and trips through the dishwasher haven't led to breakage. Yet.

Fragile
My husband loves them. Be very careful washing (by hand.) They are fragile.

Best glasses for IPA, hands down
These glasses are excellent. And this is my second box, having broken all of the first ones. That's important, but notice that I'm not deducting a star. More on that in a moment.First of all, the pros: These glasses are absolutely perfect for modern IPAs, especially purchased in large can format. The glass promotes a perfect amount of head, nice bubbling thereafter, and the glasses are narrow enough that you can really see the color of your beverage. They're light and very thin glasses and I love the elegant feel.Compared with a normal pint glass these are just in an entirely different league. Compared with some of the other specialty IPA glasses on the market, these are the best I've found, by far -- the others are just clunky and lame by comparison.Downside: The glass is THIN. I broke my first one out of my last box because I got excited while explaining something and emphasized my point by dinging the side of the glass with my fingernail. It certainly did drive the point right home when I shattered the glass, in addition to making a nice bell sound. I broke two more while washing the glasses, because I pushed a bit too hard with the sponge. The third, I broke in the old fashioned way; dropped it on the floor. At least that one, I didn't feel too bad about. So yeah, baby these. Wash them by hand. Don't drop them on the floor. Don't hit them with your finger. But buy them, and drink from them, because they're amazing glasses and your ever-more-expensive can of hoppy goodness deserves a proper home en route to your mouth.

Great IPA glasses, but they've gotten thinner
I initially bought this product a number of years ago, but recently had to buy it again to replace some broken glasses. I noticed that on the newer versions of the product, the glass is much thinner at the top. I'm not sure why they changed it, the old ones were much better. I don't have any problem with them in the dishwasher (never had one break in there in years of owning them).

Superb Quality.
My husband is a beer snob. I’m talking dropping $90 at the craft beer store, beer flights at the craft beer bar. He also brews beer and we have a 4 tap kegerator that he made from a chest freezer. He drinks IPA’s in IPA glasses, Pilsners in Pilsner glasses so on and so forth. Spiegelau is by far his glass of choice. It’s quite luxurious. He flicks the glass as true crystal makes a tone. Then he pours his beer and oohs and ahhs about the color and that top part (the head?). He will sit there with a ridiculous smile on his face until the beer stops fizzing or what have you. Then, sweet baby Jesus, describes the beer with words like “touch of citrus”, “nutty”, “undertone”, “hint of”. “Hoppy” is his favorite. Then I have to try it and tell him what I taste. It tastes like expensive beer. I don’t like beer. Here’s the thing, I am a clutz. He knows this. I am why we can’t have nice things. I am fine with that. He has banned me from handling his beer classes. But I have somehow still managed to break all of them. I purchased this 6 pack and hopefully they last more than a few months. I even went out and got a decorative candle holder to protect his precious royal Spiegelau glass. (pictures posted)These glasses are beautifully crafted crystal glasses. Absolutely Superb quality. Thin, and delicate like crystal is supposed to be. Comparable to exorbitantly expensive luxury glassware. This would make a great gift for your bourgeois friends. And a great gift for the anal beer snob in your life. Seriously, he wrote a review a few months back. This man doesn’t write reviews.

Nice design. Too fragile
I had these glasses for three days and one broke already while I was drying it. A second broke a week later drying in the dish drain. I love the design of the glass, but it's just too thin.

Love these IPA glasses
The new version of these glasses are much better that the old ones. I received one as a gift, it was nice but very thin and broke. The new ones are much more sturdy, I love the way they feel and sound. Quality crystal glass.

Love them !
As described! Renowned quality. They look good, no default. Bought them for IPA and because I was looking for thin glasses, very happy. Fun to drink from good grip. I wash them by hand with a glass sponge tool and works perfectly.

Calidad
