Good Item
I bought this with the idea in mind of mounting one of my handlebar mount lights on it after seeing how effective my riding buddy's Nite Rider helmet mounted MiniNewt 150 is. The device is smaller than it looks in the pics and none of my bar mounts would fit under the tube section. I cut part off part of an old Specialized halogen light mount to get it to fit and it works great (I carry the Ni-Cad battery pack in my back pocket)!

Good to have an extra mount
It’s just an additional mount for the Seca light. It works exactly as advertised. I like having the additional mount so that I don’t have to constantly switch a mount from one helmet to another.

Simple, price is right.
This is a good unit for helmet mounting lights that are intended for handlebar mounting. Easy to set up and is stable when mounted.

Maybe just not a good fit for my helmet.
The plastic base was too small to sit in the molded grooves on my helmet the straps were a bit too short. I got it to fit on my helmet but it was still a little wobbly. If your helmet doesn't have groves down the top center this one may work great for you.I bought a MagicShine Mj-6028 helmet mount to replace this one, it worked much better on my helmet. The magic shine is a little hard to install because the Velcro straps are super long but once you get it mounted the first time and cut the excess should be easy to remove and install when needed.

This is a wonderful buy, it fits snugly on my helmet and my vision is much better at night because of it.

Works great on my helmet
This looks a little goofy when you are riding and see your shadow but it works just as you'd expect. The Velcro strap is plenty long that it should fit on any helmet. If you already have a light that you want to mount, don't want to buy a helmet specific light, then this is for you.

Use for recumbent light mount - Awesome!
Also terrific for mounting a light under the boom of a recumbent bike! Good value and functionality, nice job guys.

Lost my original in a move...great to have the light on the helmet again...
I often commute at odd hours, from 0400, sometimes riding home a 2300...so I do a lot of night riding...for some needs a handle bar/fork mounted light is fine...I always run one, but to add a helmet light it allows for you to look ahead on trails or paths with out turning the handlebars...light where you look...good stuff!
