Marijuana Chemistry: Genetics, Processing, Potency

This book was made for the stoner nerds of the world. I seriously would not recommend it for anyone that isn't a serious reader. It is extremely complex and it's dealing with a somewhat dangerous process if you don't know what you're doing. At the same time, if you are not afraid to risk blowing yourself up by turning your kitchen into a makeshift lab, this is the book for you.Even if you aren't interested in the extraction section of the book, this book has really good information about choosing the right strains (high CBD) for use in making hash oil. So I'd definitely recommend it as a beach read.I bought this book to learn how to extract thc through isomerization. I have never taken a college chemistry class so this book is in no way simple for me to understand. However, after reading the sections on extraction a few times and writing notes it is possible to figure out. I'll write a follow up review when I have a chance to compare yield by this books method and the youtube method.

this book is full of good information with many charts comparing different strains of marijuana. However, at least in my area of the country, it may not apply as much as I'd like because a lot of selective breeding has happened here since this book was published. People in my area tend to grow outdoors so strains here are adapted to the local environment, which is very different than the conditions in an indoor environment

Very informative but also very outdated. Its a good into to the subject to get an understanding but much more recent and new discoveries are easily at hand

Overpriced for a Kindle book. Some of the material seemed to be dated, and some difficult to follow. However, there was a great deal of useful informatiion.

This book is for the scientifically minded individual. Intended to further your research. It is an excellent Book if that is your goal.If you are simply a 420 lover who wants to drop seeds in dirt, don't bother with this book. This is for serious research and proper breeding techniques.

Very interesting book about the history of cannabis, how it is processed and the changes in the strains with the crossbreeding. Not light reading but very interesting.

Could use a second edition of this book, some of the information is either out of date or repeated from other publications, not bad for the complete noob though.
