Been a Marty Magic fan for 2 decades
I did not buy this piece, but I love Marty Magic so much that I want to share my experience. I first discovered Marty Magic in a small shop in downtown Santa Cruz, CA. maybe 20 years ago. I was looking for something to buy for my wife. My biggest problem with Marty is that I can almost never decide on just one piece! And I had that problem that first day in her shop. I have bought matching gold and silver suns and moons earrings. I have bought wizards, and dragons, and even an anglerfish, which is ghastly in its beauty! I have bought so much jewelry from Marty that I cannot remember it all. These days gold is off the plate for a lot of us, so Marty has moved into less precious metals. I still see her at the Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay and when I make it out to the Sunnyvale Art & Wine Festival, she may be there. Her work is fabulous and her daughter seems to be very talented as well. We have seen her helping her mother at festivals for years and now she seems to be coming into her own as a jewelry artist. Marty is a genuine homegrown, 100% USA artist. If you are looking for unique and beautiful jewelry, I highly recommend Marty Magic! Most importantly, the person I keep buying all this jewelry for, my beautiful wife, loves all the Marty jewelry she owns! It's really fun to wear.
