Wow. I've been a Christian for several years and have heard of Charles Spurgeon but something in the old retired man in me saw a bargain in the SIX CLASSIC WORKS in a single book so I invested. Like instant revival. I KNOW this was written many years ago but the author's writings/relationship with Christ are so powerful and encouraging...like it was written yesterday! The best Christian literature I've read in the past 20 years, easily AND, not one but SIX classic and profound books in one! Just finished it a moment ago but plan to reread it immediately and burn out a few highlighters in it. Excellent and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

All Christians could benefit from reading this book. Spurgeon speaks directly from the Holy Spirit and his knowledge is impeccable

If you love Spurgeon sermons you will love this book. It’s a compilation of six of his books. Do you need to know how to pray better, need encouragement from God’s word. Read the Bible but also read this book and then keep it around to re-read it, it’s that good.
