Have someone help hold pet still. With remover, grab tick firmly, close to skin surface. DO NOT PULL! Turn device slowly several times counter-clockwise until tick lets go. Place tick in screw-top jar containing some rubbing alcohol (for testing) in case your pet falls ill. Wash hands with soap and water. Sterilize tick remover after use.
