simple and awesome!
just enough information for someone that has played guitar forever, thank you. Good for beginners as well. It is all about the practice!

Useful
Well organized, and good information on chords and which scales/modes are used for each palos and shows standard chord progressions for the palos.Does not have all voicing for all chords (I imagine that would be impossible) but there are many.

This sort of reference is not actually very useful at all
I disagree with the other reviewers. This is not essential. In fact, it doesn't need to exist. If you are a mindless rote-learning musician who never notices patterns, then maybe you'll appreciate a book showing you common patterns. But then, if you aren't noticing patterns anyway, you probably aren't going to appreciate this.I might have considered two-stars if not for the awful binding and other things that make the book extra frustrating. So overall there is no explanation of how to use this, no explanation of what is going on in the music, just a chord / scale book with more flamenco focus than most. Very limited, hard to stay open, offers nothing new, bad format, teaches little.Basically worthless, given that there are lots of resources out there for the basic theory anyway. **This is the sort of thing that belongs on a wiki online where people can adapt and improve it and share it freely** - it does not belong in a way-overpriced little book like this. Nor is it done that well. It could have been so much better. For reference, here's the contents:This book has 38 pages of chord charts showing common chords, jazz/pop-style music theory, and just a few flamenco-specific items like the Maj+b9 but most of the common mixed chords of Flamenco are otherwise absent. Then there is a section of flamenco progressions mentioning style names. It simply goes through these repeatedly by keys in this order: E A F#(w/ open drones) B(w/ open drones) G# C# D#all of these as the flamenco-Phrygian root (i.e. like harmonic minor except the minor root is now the iv chord and what was V is now I)shows roman numerals for chords, then progressions with just lettersiv-III-II-II-II-Icircle of fifths w/ secondary dominantsa few othersThen the same thing for Major tonality (i.e. more classical) modes and minor modesthese just for keys of E A Da few short bits about alternate tuningsvery basic overview of flamenco rhythm (12 pattern w/ different starting points, 8 pattern)A few chord progressions with associated scales with the idea of jammingScales:standard modes, harmonic and melodic minor, diminished, pentatonic, blues

Flamenco chords
A good book for both beginners and pros. The only disadvantage is the small size of this bookIf it was published in A4 size it would have been great,I wish the publishers read this comment
