Great toaster. We bought a new toaster to match our black stainless steele appliances. It burned one side and left the other side barely touched. So, we decided to just pitch it. After reading reviews, I bought this one. It's FANTASTIC!!!! It toasts evenly on both sides. It even has a lever to raise the toast up, so you can grasp it with no problem. (Some reviews said the toast doesn't raise high enough. They should read the instructions.) If your toaster isn't doing the job, take a chance on this one. I'm glad we did.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:There's a learning curve to finding the exact level of toasting time, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. The slots are wide enough for bagels or thick-sliced sourdough bread. I LOVE the slide-out tray. No more dumping of crumbs because the bottom fell out!

The toaster works pretty well. Toast is adjustable to any setting you like. However, the bagel setting doesn’t work. It toasts the outside as well as the inside of bagels and English muffins. I thought that the setting was only supposed to toast the cut side. I have to be very careful taking bagels out to spread cream cheese because I can’t hold them in my hand to do so.

Love this toaster! I should have bought it a long time ago. It is great for toasting bread, bagels and does a much better job than a toaster oven. It is easy to set the dial to get the perfect toast you want. It works very well. I bought this toaster over a year and a half ago, and my family still loves it. Works well for frozen waffles too!

Great product, durable and easy to use.

This toaster seems to be well constructed relative to other flimsy toasters I have experienced. If you are only using it for standard sized pre-sliced bread loafs, bagels, waffles or pop tarts, you will probably be pretty happy with it. If you buy bread from the bakery and cut longer slices, they won’t fit without being cut down to size so I would recommend getting a toaster with longer slots. The only thing that strikes me as a design flaw is that the lever only lifts the toast up by about half an inch making it difficult to get the toast out without unplugging it and using a fork.
