Very easy setup. Plug it all in correctly (pay attention to which is transmit and which is receive) and it just works. Transmits my xfinity one signal across the house to other tv's. There was some skipping the first couple days and I was having to reset it to fix it, but it has worked great while watching TV for the past couple months.

Good hdmi transmitter
Straightforward configuration and install, I've been using it for a couple days, very little to no noticeable lag. Takes some system tinkering to fully optimize it.

Dropping picture in both 4K and 1080P. Can't get stable.
UPDATE:Spoke with tech support at J-Tech, he was very helpful and recommended checking for 5Ghz WIFI signals. I turned off all 5Ghz WIFI in the house and still encountered the same issue. I had purchased a 1080p/660ft unit. Swapped that in and everything worked fine. Ive returned the 4K unit for a refund (thanks Amazon) and will use the 1080p version. Works for now, will have an issue once cableTV starts broadcasting in 4K. I'm leaving the 1 star rating here, will post another review for the 1080p uint. After reading all the great reviews, I purchased a 4K/164' set. Easy to install, there's really no setup or configuration. I had the Receiver plugged into a brand new Sony TV and the transmitter plugged into a AppleTV 4K. They were sitting 12' from each other, in the same room. I would intermittently see the screen go black and lose audio. After 3-7 seconds, the picture would resume with artifacts and then start streaming normally. Tried adjusting antenna positions, but without any change. Move the unit to it's permanent location down the all in a closet and connected it to a Cox Contour2 box (now running 1080p) hoping that with the lower resolution, it would perform better. But still experiencing the same issue. I'm returning the unit. Wondering if I just got a defective unit and should order another.

Works as advertised
These were truly plug and play right out of the box. From my point of view there is no loss of picture or sound quality. While I'm not broadcasting the signal through any walls, I do have the receiver behind the TV stand and it works without issue. You do need to have a power source for both the transmitter and the receiver (it would be nice if the receiver could get power from a USB port on the television). But, other than that little thing, I have nothing negative to say. Oh ya, they are a little more expensive than some of the other models but they do support 4k (however i don't currently have a 4k television but, just planning for the future).EDIT: I ended up taking these out as after a month or so, the sound would go out and the picture would lock up. I'd then have to reset the transmitter for the picture or sound to come back. The sound issue and lockup were too frustrating so I no longer use them and ended up running a cable to the TV. I couldn't get any satisfaction from their support either.

Fantastic.
Phenomenal product. Works seamlessly. Running it in the presence of a dual band WiFi router without interference (I have both 2.4 and 5ghz running)

Not good for computer desktop viewing
This item was purchased for its 4k support to project to a conference room monitor. The image it conveys is excellent. The lag between source and receiver is too much to make this a good choice for use as a computer display as the lag between keypress and mouse movements becomes very distracting. Cloning the display is not really a good option as 4k laptop monitors are not common, so we end up cloning at regular HD resolution and the presenter only looks at his laptop display. I assume that one would have similar issues if this were used for a home theater system where the audio was through an AVR and video only sent to TV. There would be significant time lag between image and sound.

Does not last long!
This is the second or third J-Tech device I have bought for connecting my TV and directtv wirelessly. Each time I purchase a more expensive model since the cheaper model failed in a year or so. This latest version cost $350 and only lasted 6 months. Get the warranty!!!
