Read many reviews and determined a majority of customers were satisfied with this product. Made a decision to purchase and test. So far, I am pleased with this purchase. Have only used product one time. However, the charger recognized my laptop immediately. A 100 percent charge was achieved easily and relatively quickly. The charger was warm during the charging process. However, I have reason to believe that the Lenovo OEM charger generated the same or possibly warmer amount of heat compared to the replacement.

This is the second time I purchased this cord and the second time it became sporadic and untrustworthy after just a few months of use.It worked fine for the first 2 and half months. At the 3 month mark I started checking that the connection was not loose when I would occasionally find my computer battery draining while plugged in. The connection is not loose. For a week or so the problem would come and go, making it hard to pin down. At 4 months it is happening almost every day. The cord charges intermittently and has left me with a drained battery despite being plugged in.I will be searching to buy a different cord to replace this one. Won't be buying the same kind again a third time though. If I can't rely on it, it's useless. Very disappointing.
