Nice quality pan 👍🏻
I bought this for making Indian chapati breads. It works great! It's a good solid thick heavy cast iron flat pan - perfect for the job. Looks well made and has a good finish 👌🏻 Great price too !!

Diamond in the rough
I wasn't too pleased when I opened it because the quality of the casting isn't great, as there's some raised ripples on the cooking surface and a small pit, about a millimetre deep. So I thought I'd try it out, and I'm very impressed. After one coat of seasoning in the oven, pancakes came away with no issue. I used it as a heat sink in the oven to keep potato cakes warm, and the radiated heat crisped them up well. Valentine's day steak got a deep, even brown sear. Omelettes released without any sticking. Wonderful bit of gear.

Best Pizza
I have an Italian pizza cookbook and in lieu of a proper pizza oven the recommended method to create authentic pizza is on a cast iron pan. Not one to resist a good pizza and having already had some success using a pizza stone I decided to give it a go.The pan itself is heavy and solid and I expect it will last for many years. It comes pre-seasoned but for best results be sure to repeat the seaoning process regularly. Also don't let the pan soak in water or stay wet or it will rust. That aside I've found it very easy to look after and after some repeated use and seasoning it even takes on some non-stick attributes.As for the pizza it does an amazing job. Simply get the pan scorching hot on the hob, drop on your base and once it starts to bubble chuck on some toppings and finish it under the grill. It is hands down the best pizza I've had at home and rivals just about anything I've had from a restaurant.

The base is not 100% flat
It is not flat against my aga top. I put a ruler against the bottom and it is not flat/snug as there is about a .5cm - 1cm gap between the middle and the edge. Very disappointed as it gives an uneven distribution of heat on my aga top but probably fine for gas?

Great Value.
Fantastic value when compared to others available on Amazon. It's a lump of cast iron to cook on, not sure why the others are so expensive. Great for pizzas, although as per usual, the flour does seem to make a good stab at wrecking the pan. However, unlike my old frying pan, which had to be binned after my last attempt, this one successfully succumb to a scraper, a bit of steel wool and then a re-season with oil.

Not capable for induction hob
Terrible!Leave the massive mark on my induction hob after using it just ones. The wired orange colour is disposing off !PLEASE DONT USE IT ON YOUR INDUCTION COOKER TOP! Although it mentioned is capable!I dont think i can ask for refund as i have used it but really disappointed

Great crepe pan
Very good pan except it could do with a longer handle. We used it for "Pancake Day" (Shrove's Tuesday) and works fine but a longer handle would make them easier to flip.
