Fun for the whole family and Kids!
Honestly I bought this for my son knowing I'm the one who really wanted to play it. I'm actually a long time fan and hadn't played it since my late 20's when I shared an apartment with my brother. It is our all time favorite game.To get to my kids. One is 13 and the other is 9. In no way shape or form is this a game for 15+. The crud that is sold as kid game on the PlayStation is far more inappropriate. Essentially you're collecting pieces and trying to be the first one to escape. Nothing about this game is frightening. If you're an adult and have kids and are tired of the same family games that have been circulating for 70yrs, do yourself a favor and switch it up with this. There are expansions, many, it'll take an 8yr old all of 10mins to learn, extremely easy to learn. The board is different everytime. Replay value is never ending. 🤙

My favorite board game
By far my favorite board game. I definitely recommend for something fun for all ages. The best part is there is about 18 expansions to add new maps, equipment, and ways to play you can add to this game. Highly recommend this game!

Solid Boardgame that is at its base a great time.
I've wanted this game for many years now, 9 to be exact. I was younger and genuinely afraid of zombies altogether but really like the idea of the game. It wasn't 9 years of solid anticipation, but now and again I thought of owning it. And for the most part I'm pretty pleased with what I've finally got.The game is densly competitive, but there are ways to make cooperative through personal homebrews and available rules/materials available. The artstyle, atmsophere, and black humor tone workwell to sell the game as a full pacakage. While the gameplay is scavanging, traveling, and fighting with dice and cards, the amount of possible scenarios of a freshmap and expansions usually help the game feel a bit more fresh (or sometimes annoyingly luck based). The best way I would discribe the sort of gaming atmosphere is a Mario party esc, everyman for himself, sabotage the progress, and screw over playes for personal gain. This can tend to slow down a game, but the difficulty and tension that is brought from trying to out straigize your friends at the table as well as control the luck that comes with it, is consistently fun.The only real problem I have with it is when games run expectedly long or convuluted. As at some points your game might go long enough to the point of mutual frustration. Suddenly you've gone through the deck numerous times and the only way out of town is through pointless amounts of zombies when you seem to die every couple of turns. Your friends keep holding each other back and the game lags on till luck has it that Noone had a card to screw you over. This only seems to happen in bigger games when more cards are out to play and has the game going over an hour and a half, while 2-4 players would only require about an 35 minutes.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and already have a good collection of memories with an entire kitchen table layer out with a massive map and a ton of zombies in each corner of the board. Good with friends, good with about an hour of time, and over all a pretty great experience where I'm actively looking forward to buy some of the expansions and have more fun down the line.

3rd Edition of a Old but Great Game!
ZOMBIES!!! By Twilight Creations has been around a long time now. Most people don't even pay attention to it anymore with the development of modern board games today.Well let me just say, I currently own over 1500+ games and one thing about good ole ZOMBIES!!! is it is still the only "non-cooperative" zombie theme game out there! I mean sure, some of a small competitive way to play but mostly are cooperative. This bad boy here brings the whole "Take That" theme to a new level! Not only are you trying to survive against zombies that are continuously spawning and overcrowding the map, but also trying to be the only one to survive!!I own several copies of the base game from 1st Edition to this 3rd Edition now. I own the Mega Box and all sets included! The picture I share is from a Tournament I ran at a Convention using several sets combined with tiles and card. Also using over 1000 zombies, just in case.So if you are looking for a zombie game that can be mean to you by both the game and other players, look no further!

Fun
The game is as fun as ever!! Yes not much has really changed between the 2nd edition and the 3rd edition other than 4 new Zombie figure pawns and door/survivor tolkens. + the box art and instruction booklet is updated and nicer looking compared to just the white sheet of paper from the previous editions. So if you already have the 2nd edition core base game there is no real need to upgrade to this 3rd edition. If you have the original 1st edition and are looking to upgrade I'd say Go for it!! What is nice though is if you have the original 2 zombie pawns from the other editions you can mix them in this set so there is a more variety of different zombies on your board !!

Great game with very minor drawbacks.
I bought this game as a birthday present to myself and I love it! The map tiles never lay the same so there will also be replay value, even before any expansion sets are bought. The one drawback is the packaging and various item tiles (life, bullets, etc.). The item tiles themselves are small and do not seem very durable, and it would be nice if there was some way to store them all in the box without them just getting mixed up, but ziplock bags work fine to help with that problem.Overall a great game and, as you wait for the official soundtrack to be released this Fall, Midnight Syndicate has other albums that help set a nice horror atmosphere.
