Rule Britannia!
A tricky build in places but it’s Belfast… a quality history and a worthy model.Worth seeing in the flesh too, on the Thames.

Ark Royal model from the classic AIRFIX
Interesting model with just the right level of detail to make it entertaining. As is usual in this brand, the quality of the materials allows you to customize some of the finishes, which is appreciated among enthusiasts of this hobby.

Happy with this but it doesn’t come with glue and the box was a little bashed.

Come on Airfix
I get that this kit is from the Airfix Vintage Classic's series (kit from 1966) but come on Airfix surely these kits can be given some kind of an update. With the amount of flash on the parts and the barely readable part numbers on the sprues I thought I'd been transported back to 1969 and was building Ark Royal for the first time again.

Unreadable part numbers
Not what i expected, this is one of the worse models i have bought, due to not being able to read the part numbers. They were too dark and not readable, look like they were melted into the plastic.Because of that was unable to complete.
