Fixed my Suzuki DR650
Perfect set for broken or stripped threads, this Heli-coil set saved me $150 by doing it myself instead of a motorcycle repair shop, which more than paid for the entire set with money left over, Excellent quality!!

Great quality and value
Firstly, this comes in a metal case, which is very welcome.I’ve used this a few times now and had no problems. The drills have worked absolutely fine, the taps too. No problem fitting the inserts though the tang at the bottom doesn’t always break off when it should, though it’s not caused a problem. So far it has made repairing damaged threads a breeze, the installed inserts have worked great. Last repair was a coolant pipe retaining bolt on an engine. It was quick, easy, the bolt went in first time after the repair was made and no leaks.Highly recommended!

Awesome set
This kit worked great. I stripped out my abs module on my truck and was able to fix it with this. Still holding great.

really only has 130 items--you'll want a tap wrench or two
To be fair, what I received looked like the main picture. I found 5 (one of each size) of bits, taps, insertion tools, and breaker pins (20 items), and 110 repair coils, 25x(M5,M6,M8,M10) and 10xM12. The front of the box indicates the remaining item should be one hex wrench. Presumably, this means some sort of tap wrench to hold the tap while it's driven into the recently-drilled hole.Overall, it's a good set for the price. Just be aware you'll probably want a tap wrench--or two, since there don't seem to be many that can secure all five sizes. You do want something that will help keep the tap square to the surface while you're cutting new threads. Hopefully the seller rectifies the issue, or at least changes the description. I see that the SAE set also seems to lack a tap wrench, but at least the box doesn't list that you should be getting one.

Good value, terrible taps.
Great value for the money, but the taps are terrible. Seriously. If you're working on anything important, buy a decent tap to go with it.

Love it
Very very handy to have around in a pinch. Saves from buying many single sized kits

Get a kit if you don't own one
I would recommend this product. I bought 2, this being the better one. Used it on a 799 ls exhaust stud that was broke off inside & it had a broken hardened milwaukee bit inside. Sadly I couldn't keep the same stock size exhaust bolt. Had to go 1 size bigger but that Chinese drill bit ATE thru everything & whole process took 5min. So in the end a junkyard run would be 70 plus gas & new head to much $. But now I have a kit & new skill unlocked.

Great Kit
This fixed a thread issue on my vehicle. Was worried I would have to create new threads, but this kit was a life saver. Use lots of cutting oil and go slow for the magic to work.
