Because of its low magnification, it is best suited for plinking and hunting where most shots are taken between 25 and 75 yards. Nicely finished, not so expensive, adjusts properly. It just plain works for my application.

Some scratches on the windage cap. Had to buy new mounts as I needed 3/8 but no worries walmart had a simmons set. Good eye relief. Scope is clear as well.

Best budget rim fire scope on the market. Put on a henry 22mag and get .5 inch groups at 50 yards.

Purchased for my Ruger 10/22. This scope beat out three other contenders. Had the clearest optics, easy focus, sighted in with 5 rounds, very accurate and it held the zero. This scope worked so well I ordered a second scope for my Henry Survival Rifle.

I have this mounted to a regular old bolt action 22lr that sits next to my back door for possums and stuff that come for my chickens. It was fine for a little bit until I noticed the rear clamp came disconnected from the dovetail. I tried to reinstall it for a bit before looking and seeing that the clamp edge was totally worn down. It's really cheap metal, zinc probably. I can't get it to attach anymore. I'll keep the scope, it does its job, but now I'm going to have to buy new rings. Over time and just regular carry they wore out and popped off.

I really like this scope for 22LR's. For the price, it's incredible. I own several. Most recently, this was for my Savage Mark II Minimalist. The adjustable zoom is perfect (in my opinion) for small game hunting within the range of a 22LR. Focus is crisp and clear, even in the fading light of day. A breeze to adjust when zeroing, and holds it perfectly (I know I know, not hard to do on a 22LR). End caps are nice, and I like that they are held together with shock cord. I usually take them off and put them in my soft case while I am out hunting. The only negative I can think of is that in colder temps (40F or below) the zoom adjustment is a bit tough to turn. Its a very minor complaint, and I wont deduct any points for it in this review......but just so you know before you buy, as it may annoy you more than I.
