This stuff is great to create realistic wet/water effects. Very pleased.

This really looks like water amazing! The kids loved using it. The texture and quality was great. It was thick but runny. It cost a bit much we had to use a lot because it was quite runny. I will say it is durable because it it still on his project

for the tiny bases of my battletech miniatures this stuff is awesome👌. works to keep everything looking wet. but like others have said. it spreads..a lot! takes time to dry and is hard to do deep water with an uncontrolled surface.also. I kinda noticed a similarly to vallejos other product, pouring medium. only this is very nice and clear!🙂 but the pouring medium does clear up after initial placement...🤔I haven't used other vallejo water effects products but I've heard they are awesome too. I may have to try bx of this.

The media could not be loaded. I have only used the water effects a few times, but I really like it so far. You don't need ot use very much so I think this will likely last me forever unless it dried up in the bottle.I watched some videos before I used it, so here are some of the important tips:- It takes a while to cure, it's best to let it sit over night even between layers.- It shrinks, so doing a few thin layers and waiting for it to fully cure between them works best.- I've heard that it should be used for shallow water as it won't scale well to deeper pools. Deeper pools probably should be done with 2 part or UV resin.- Mix it with a very small amount of ink / wash / paint to tint it slightly. You need a lot less than you think to tint it. I tested it a bit, but then used some old (clean) dropper bottles to premix a couple colors to have ready.- Paint under it with the main color you want it to read as

Easy to use, and looks fantastic. Adds a really effect to your miniatures. I'd recommend it for anyone who paints, whether its for D&D, Warhammer, Pathfinder, or just for the look of it. I've used it for drool, for raindrops, for terrain water, and I've even mixed it with wash paints/inks to make swampy effects. Great to have, and goes pretty far. I imagine this bottle will last me quite a while.

I love this stuff for creating waterfalls, splashes & other effects —just dry some droplets on nonstick paper then peeled them off & placed into various places in my hardened water to create ripples, or drying longer/fatter amounts helped me create waterfalls, etc

Vallejo makes a vast range of products and this one is no different than the rest in quality and amazing presentation. Adds another element to my miniature painting experience.

The Viscosity of the water effects was perfect. I made a multi-layered rocky base for my Imperial Knight. I added it to the base after painting the entirety of the base to my liking. It flowed between all the crevices and pooled in a very realistic way. I would recommend covering the edges of the base for the spilling over. The great thing is that you can tint the product however you'd like. Add a bit of green for a swampy marsh, add some blue for a gorgeous river, or a bit of brown for some very wet mud. If you're trying to make a deep area of water, DO IT IN LAYERS, be patient.I'm definitely going to buy this product again.
