Kraus Turino Workstation 33-inch Farmhouse Kitchen Sink, Reversible Apron Front, Fireclay Single Bowl, White, KFR1-33GWH

We remodeled our kitchen and I’ve been using this sink for about a week now. So far it’s great! I went with the more “square” side of the sink. There were a few imperfections but they’re not even noticeable. I’ve kept the metal grid at the bottom and just rinse food debris down the disposal every now and then. Very happy with my purchase so far! I also chose the Kraus faucet and soap dispenser.

Beautiful sink. You won’t regret this purchase. Just make sure your contractor knows about the front part of the sink. It’s not perfectly square and if they don’t know how it curves in the front, you’ll see an ugly gap in your kitchen cabinets. We fought hard with our contractor to fix the gap issue.

Delivered broken!

The sink arrived as expected. Nicely shipped with zero issues. It’s heavy so if you install as the under-mount option as we did, you will need a support cradle (see photo). Our cabinet installers made one with extra wood on the spot to fit it. It took them 15 mins.I noticed other reviews state it didn’t drain well. We are not experiencing this. The sink has a slight but visible cant towards the drain. When washing dishes, food and water easily travel that way. I selected this sink specifically because the drain is on the side and not in the middle. I think this could be a difference maker for draining. We had a sink similar (in stainless steel) with the drain in the middle, and I hated spraying food and debris to the center drain near dishes I had already washed and set aside to dry. I could never keep it clean. No real fuss to keep this one clear of food debris with the drain on the far side. Even lazy husband has no issues with keeping it drained and clear of food debris.We did have a plumber install a garbage disposal. This was a little more costly as it required us to purchase an “extra deep disposal flange” ( about $100 for the flange) due to the thickness of the sink. See photo.Counter installers used a laser to measure the sink to fit the quartz counters cutout exactly. I think with fire clay there could be some variations, but the sink appears true and rectangular to the naked eye. It installed with zero problems.It’s beautiful sink. It was also more affordable compared to a quality cast iron. We purchased the custom grid sink protector to prevent dishes from breaking out damaging the sink’s finish (see picture). It does a great job of supporting heavy casserole dishes. Obviously, we have only used it for a short time, and I will update if any concerns come up in the future.Lastly, I wanted a work stain sink. The Kraus brand allows you to purchase accompanying items that fit inside the groove of this mode for customizable options. Some are pricey but are a beautiful addition to the sink’s functionality. We are very happy with this purchase after spending months trying to compare fire clay with cast iron to enameled sinks. This is a clear winner for our budget, needs, and aesthetic desires.

As of now I am giving a 4 start review due to issues with my initial order.My first order of this sink went smoothly (timely delivery), however, the box was open when the delivery people brought it, no big deal (I suppose). Had my contractor install the sink in my brand new custom made counter top, and upon cleaning we discovered a hairline crack in the top edge of the sink (you could not see it before cleaning and of course no one cleans a sink before it's installed). So not only did I have to pay contractor to put it in, had to pay him to remove it, repackage it, label it for UPS pick up, leave on my porch for 6 days (due to an error on Amazon's end with when they could get it picked up). Plus I had to pay my contractor to put in the next one I ordered - with of course NO COMPENSATION from anyone - so I'm out about 6 hours of pay to my contractor and he's not cheap!I ordered another sink (exact same one), we thoroughly checked it before install - no issues. So far I have had the sink in for about 3 weeks, have not actually been able to use my sink much as my kitchen remodel is not complete, but so far so good.I had also paid for a 4 year warranty on the sink, was told it would transfer to the replacement sink I ordered - it did not transfer (I did get the credit back on my card).Amazon and seller have been wonderful about getting my replacement quickly.This is a VERY heavy sink, overall good quality for the money spent. Just not the headache.

I love this sink! I was hesitant about going with a white sink, because I have read some terrible reviews about some of them, but thankfully I have been very impressed with this one. I use Bar Keeper’s Friend to keep it clean. No stains or chips so far. We’ve had it in our newly remodeled kitchen for about 4 months and no issues. It is so pretty!
