I really like this light. We decided on flush mount over any pendant style that hung from a cable or pole, so that it would be fully enclosed under our shade pavilion and not obstruct any more of the view from out the back of the house. We went with the galvanized finish because the roof is old corrugated galvanized steel and external siding is reused barn siding, so it went with the rest of the look.There are a few things I don't like about it. I don't regret the purchase because I already knew in today's world what I would be getting. Made in China, cheap packaging, fake sprayed on "galvanized" finish that looks fine at a distance but pretty crappy up close. Overall, this fixture should sell for no more than $30, but it is what it is. One technical issue is that the round mounting plate that comes with it doesn't really provide a good way to balance or flatten out the plate when your box is slightly recessed. I had my boxes set a good 1/4" higher than the bottom of the 3/4" t&g ceiling, and if the plate was screwed all the way tight to the box, the machine screws protruding down weren't long enough for the finish nuts to catch and threads. I had to lower the plate, which tips back and forth because it's not a large enough diameter to tighten against the ceiling. A bar type mounting plate a bit wider than the electrical box would be a better choice.The bottom line is they look good installed, and my wife is happy with them.

Although there were similar lights that cost less, I kept returning to this one has the most aesthetically pleasing. It was going to be on my new front porch, which has a cottage feel, and this one seemed to be the most stylish and best proportion. Installation was straightforward enough, although I am not the one who installed it. But it was just what I wanted and I am very pleased with it.

These two ceiling porch light look great and add charm to my log house.

I absolutely love these lights! Good quality and the perfect touch of rustic for any home...or any Chip & Joanna fan! The lights are as pictured & as advertised per the item details. Wiring in & assembling was a breeze! If you get excited over light fixtures like me, you probably will eagerly dig into the box without looking at the parts list. Heads up, the washers are small, clear plastic - easy to lose if you arent watching for it.

This light matches the style of my outdoor ceiling fan and I love the look of them together. It's very sturdy and seems pretty weather resistant. It is mounted on the rear porch but it gets sprayed every time I pressure wash the house (at least twice a year). Would buy again.

Love this light. I think its expensive compared to the black one i bought of this but this one is more sturdy. I bought this to match My galvanized laundry room and it is perfect! Love it! I would recommend to everyone
