Perfect fit. Perfect match for original factory illumination.
Matches up perfectly with the rest of the dash. Quick installation thanks to watching the how to videos on YouTube prior to installing. When removing the clock you want to use a plastic pry tool and slip it under the front bottom edge of the clock. Be very gentle because the climate control bezel around the clock will crack if you use too much force. You will only need a medium size flat head screwdriver to twist the old bulb out and to twist the new bulb into place. If you use a metal screwdriver to remove the clock there is a good chance you'll crack some plastic so consider ordering the interior panel pry tool kits sold for under $10 elsewhere on Amazon.

Went in easily on my '02 Accord . . . so far so good
Hadn't realized how much I used the clock at night until the bulb went out. On an '02 Accord, the clock pries right out with a plastic putty knife or even a credit card. The bulb is immediately visible. I disconnected the two plugs––just in case––before installing. Reconnected, and voilà: there was light. You don't need to worry about getting the polarity right, as some reviewers mentioned, because on the '02 Accord there is a slot in the circuit board and a protrusion on the bulb base that guides you in. It only goes one way. I suspect this will be the same for all the Gen 2 models ('98-'02).The weird thing was that the slot for the bulb was empty, even though the light had been working for 20 years and only went out a few weeks ago. I looked down into the space under the clock, but didn't see anything. Of course it could have fallen out and slipped away; it's very small. But I'm wondering if someone got in there and pinched it. I often leave my car unlocked. Or maybe it just worked loose.
