Q: Can this be used in sand?

My son uses it in his sand pit. Officially playmobil have a range especially for sand but we’ve not had any issue using it.

Q: Would this be too young for a 4 year old?

I bought this for my 3 year old Grandson who loves it. I would say it was fine for a 4 year old as it is sturdy and colourful. I am sure my boy will be playing with it for a good few years.

Q: Can the man sit inside the excavator?

I bought this for a Christmas present so not opened the box. The description says that it has a removable roof so perhaps that’s how he sits in it. All Playmobil figures usually fit in vehicles. Hope this helps.
