Marvelous all-around book!
This book really reaches inside you, and becomes a part of you. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone. The Book of Secrets discusses everything simply enough for easy comprehending, while reaching deep down, to the core of things. It shows you meaning behind things; life, love, many religions, meditation, yoga, tantra, among so many others. I haven't even finished and I've fallen in love with this book. With the practices, I set foot on my own spiritual journey. I wish everyone the opportunity of finding the same immense pleasure I've found in reading this, and that you all can come to realize these basic techniques as something you should find time for each day. Let it move you. I've yet to find a book that can even compare, Osho is a delightful soul and I'm very happy with my purchase. Before I finished chapter 5, I had my first out-of-body experience. I found a technique suited for myself, and now the thought of it sounds easier than I could have ever imagined, since I know now that achieving these things- really looking inside yourself- isn't hard at all!I've always been interested in meditation though I've never "found the time" or took a few moments out of my day to practice. Now I have the pleasure of knowing every time I find myself in a comfortable position, I can just close my eyes, flee my thoughts or worries, and feel myself drift out of my physical structure... I lose sense of my body, it fades away, and I am still there. It's an unimagineable experience, that we as souls, captivating this body for the brief time we have it, should feel destined to explore. (Why not?) (What's stopping you?)Before reading a part of the book where Osho mentions seeing your thoughts as if watching a film strip in front of you, that had actually happened to me... When I read it afterwards my heart skipped a beat, this book is unbelievably eery in how accurate it is. You'll be head in the clouds, and flipping through pages before you know it. Wonderful for open-minded readers. I still have more to go, more to see, more to absorb, but I feel happy with just this. I could stop reading right now and I'd still be happy I ever started. This book is beyond breathtaking. But don't just take my word for it....

The Best book to Learn about Meditation Methods and the Theory of Tantra, Yoga, and Life in general.
If you are not aware of Osho this is as good a place to start as any. Osho is one of the most well studied in theology since the Buddha himself. If you are interested in self improvement or meditating this is the book for you or anyone simply curious about yoga. meditation, or union with life and the cosmos. Highly recommend-Great book!

Creative imagination ideas! Use the INDEX don't read cover to cover!
This was originally five volumes of talks about various methods of snapping out of the general hypnotic dullness of our lives.I am delighted with the quality of this hard cover binding, the excellent index of each "technique" and the reformatting into double columns so the eye reads as easily as a magazine article. There is so much here, so well presented. Whoever did the design really made this huge amount of material very easy to jump into and out of, like using a dictionary.I'm amazed anybody is finding this "too much" as the introduction says to skip around like you would read a magazine, and to try random ideas and play with whatever interests you. Honestly some of the exercises remind me of things we used to do as bored children... most are creative imagination:Be aware in dreamsLook lovingly at an objectLook at your past disidentifiedLook into the limitless skyAcceptanceRemember everything changesImagine the unimaginableDo not fight with desireChange your focus to the gapsBecome all beingsThe 112 techniques are each only one sentence... the commentary is probably excessive, but you only need to read commentary on things that interest you.I would really recommend these techniques for people who are trying to break down creative "blocks" and reach inspiration and imagination.
