Keep track of time spent on projects or you can also use it as a countdown timer.
I bought this timer in 2007 and put it away for safe keeping when I started traveling. Recently, I started working from home again and searched for the timer and couldn't find it. I bought a new one (same exact model) figuring that I would now find it in my office since I stopped looking for it. This is a giant help in preventing you frim cheating yourself out of billable time. Works as well as the original and is exactly the same as the original. Well worth the cost.

Diet / Exercise / Budget with a Plastic Cover
I don't recall doing too many of these reviews but I decided to do this review because I may actually help someone decide to use this little beauty. The unit turned out to be nearly perfect for several reason but for one little hiccup and I solved the problem.I am on a special diet that requires having a little something to eat every three hours to keep my energy up at an even keel. Unfortunately, I would get myself busy and forget when I was supposed to eat next and this little timer worked great. I set the timer for 3 hours and after the alarm went off I would stop it (the alarm is plenty loud enough) and eat and then restart the timer as it resets itself automatically back to the 3rd hour for me to time myself again after the last bite of food. Amazingly easy, just push the start button and I was on my way for the next 3 hours. At the same time, my timer is counting down the 3 hours, I can count up the amount of time I spend exercising. This tells me how much I have improved the length of time it takes me to walk a certain distance. Again just push the start button after pushing the count up button and viola my time is being counted up.And lastly, the clock itself helps me stay on track for the amount of time I need to budget for the next project. All in all a perfect concept for me but for one little hiccup, I wear the unit around my neck and as I am active, the buttons would occasionally get pushed by my clothes and I would lose my count depending on which display was being used. I liked using all three at the same time.To solve this problem, I used the clear plastic packaging the unit came in and carefully cut around the formed plastic so I had a box like clear plastic cover to place over the unit itself. It's a perfect fit of course to protect the buttons from getting pushed accidently and yet it is flexible enough for me to use when I needed to push the start stop or clear button. I hold the cover on with a nice tight rubber band next to the tiny lip and the clear button. The edges on the back of unit are flush with the plastic so the magnet is still available to be used.If I need to reset the 3hr timer for some reason the plastic cover can be taken off and put back on.Using the plastic cover over the unit from the packaging makes this little 3 piece timer a perfect concept for me to hang around my neck.If the company had made the plastic cover for the unit themselves, I would have given them a 5 star easily. But, since I had to make it myself (no big deal) I gave them a 4 star and hope they read this and make a plastic cover to protect the buttons by simply doing same thing I did in their manufacturing of the unit.

New feature - lock button.
Hope it’s as reliable as the one it’s replacing. I love being able to carry it atound on the cord. Only problem I had with the old one is that it would pause it I bumped against a counter(I’m short). New one has a lock button. Looking forward to the new feature. Polder is very reliable.

Great ADHD tool for working Pomodoro tasks (and breaks), working The 5AM Club, or just working out.
Anyone else with adult ADHD? Last year was the first year that I took my ADHD seriously and my Polder Clock is one of my favorite tools in my toolbox. If I need to put my phone away to minimize distractions, I use my Polder. If I absolutely need an important reminder, I use my Polder (with the LOCK feature) and put it around my neck because sometimes I just swipe away alarms on my phone without even looking. Great product and great service!

Well designed
Love these timers. Hyper functional. This one beeps louder than those I’ve had in the past which is a little intense in our home, but good for commercial use I suppose.

I love these things!
I use this timer nearly every day. It is easy to use and has plenty of functions! I received one as a gift and used it for years until I finally broke it. I couldn't wait; I immediately ordered another one.
