Can you blend nuts with this?

I wouldn’t. I tried to blend almonds and it burnt out.

Maybe a silly question but with regards to sauces, what sauces do people make?

I’ve made veg curry, hummus, loads soups, any sauce you fancy have it smooth or with bits in, it’s a very versatile machine, you can manually control time/temp

How does it saute. This function doesnt di anything. The butter doesnt even melt. Also when i press the button to keep it hot it goes into clean mode.

It heats the ingredients. I’ve done onions and garlic in sauté mode and it does sweat them down and soften them. The clean button is in a different place so I haven’t had the problem mentioned

Does the jug fit other Ninja bases?

Hi having owned another Ninja appliance I would guess not. However best to check with manufacturer as I cannot confirm one way or the other.
